Does it have a buzzer or something in the engine compartment like a reefer? Suck if you had your hands in the belts on a pretrip and it starts itself. Im guessing maybe thats the horn thing

Says it in the manual. Will only sound the vehicle horn if the doors have been opened since auto start was enabled.

It will disable the auto start system if the hood is opened. It will also not enable the auto start system if the hood is open.

You can still twist to start…. This is for heat and ac to keep the driver comfortable

I was always told we shouldn’t idle a new DEF engine and to get an APU for running the AC in the summer.
