The sensor can be removed without draining the tank. You just pull down on it. There’s a magnetic ring inside that goes up and down and tells the sensor what the level is.

Yea you are right . I figured out as soon as I drained the tank 😅

this helped. I just pulled the sensor and let it be till the mechanic takes a look at it.

I have the same issue right now. Just curious I don’t have any leak but coolant sign popped up and beeps non stop. Took to TA and it’s just a sensor. May I drive it just like that if there’s no leak or drain?

First you can try to replace the sensor , if it doesn’t help , then you need to replace the coolant reservoir for sure
