I am Kenyan and I enjoy NBS content because I believe they are an independent station. I watched the station's reports during our elections in 2022. In this debate, I have learned that the Uganda Law Society is in bed with the government. So who do Ugandans run to when they are in trouble? Why is property more important than human lives? Since when did opposition protests become legal? Even our freedom fighters were supposed to be criminals. Had they not acted we would still be under colonial rule. That's why the Gen Z's are identifying with them.

Not the army. KDF was deployed but have not really taken any action at all and still remaining away from the streets outside of protecting State House. They are disciplined. It is the police that have been heavy handed. Great convo but also invite Kenyan personalities to join or call in to provide local context. And yes, invite women on the panel. They did not turn into riots. These were goons hired by rogue politicians. There are some nuances misses in this convo without Kenyans, my dear Ugandan friends.
