I have never seen a case the DCI is conducting in public. Is this a nameshaming case or what are they hoping to achieve? Is it just me or the timestamp in the CCTV when Echesa arrives is "09:38:32" at 8:45 and they leave at "10:02:36" at 11:15? My maths may be wrong but that is not 1 hr and 22 Mins. Derrick l am aware that CCTV is a hitch in any trial by competent authority.However Video Recordings can be used as long as it complies with the regulations.The images if verified can act as evidence in court.The shooting of the Dj?was recorded,to pass validity in the case of..Anyway Criminal Appeal 360 of 2012-Kenya law l agree on the determinations by the Appeal judges,on use of Photographic images to verify the robbery of the bank. Consequently, the absence of Call detail records can affect investigations.
