He ran again in 2007 and if we are to guided by Justice Kriegler who audited the process and results of that election, stated that no one could say who had won the elections, giving rise to a negotiated govt. Such a statement made with some person already perched on the seat of power is a polite way of telling the fellow sitting on that seat that he doesn't deserve to be there. Even Kivuitu stated sheepishly after the fraudulent elections that he could not tell who had won. Raila ran again in 2013. He appealed but Supreme Court judged against him. Mutunga recently, stated that they could have come up with a better judgement. His own conscience is still eating him up. In 2017, he ran again and upon Uhuruto being declared the winner, Raila appealed. Supreme Court judged in his favour and the key word in the ruling was that the process was marred with "illegalities and irregularities", which is just a euphemism for rigging. Raila did not participate in the re-run because he stated that he did not trust the institution that had been involved in "irregularities and illegalities" to oversee the re-run without institutional changes. Where are you getting your 8 times from or is it that basic arithmetic in the form of counting is above your head?

You are still stuck with the Lancaster House constitution. Kenya promulgamated a new Constitution in 2010 and that event appears not to have caught your attention at all. With the new Constitution, Kenyan Parliament ceased to have "Government" and "Opposition" sides. The new Constitution was drafted with the realization that Parliament, collectively is one of the three arms of Government. What we have are Minority and Majority sides to work in UNISON to keep the Executive in check. Keeping the Executive in check is no longer an "Opposition" role. It is the role of Parliament, COLLECTIVELY! Secondly which are these posts you are referring to that were given to the "Opposition"???

You have eyes but you can't see. Are you imagining that tensions between Uhuru and Ruto began in 2018? There were obvious tensions all the way from around 2016. Uhuru's "kitchen cabinet" and Ruto's inner circles were reading from different scripts. Uhuru's handshake with Raila was a solution to, rather than the cause of those tensions. Apply some root cause analysis techniques and you might develop a better understanding of their differences. The BBI came after the handshake and premising your root cause analysis on it is fatally defective.

When and where did Odinga vow to send Ruto to Hague? Who made that statement of, "Don't be vague, let's go to Hague??" Those were William Ruto's allies, led by by Isaac Ruto who was the choirmaster. Raila and Kibaki were in the meantime fighting for a local tribunal as first option as was recommended by Justice Waki! And when the bill to establish a local tribunal was defeated, William Ruto leaning MPs loudly celebrated! In 2013, Raila was not vowing to send anyone to Hague. Instead he stated that persons who already had a date with Hague were unsuitable to lead the country! Secondly, most of the incriminating statements against ODM leaning persons were written by PNU leaning persons, just like most of the statements against perceived perpetrators of PEV on the PNU side of the divide were written by ODM leaning persons. Justice Waki's report which covered PEV with regard to handling of suspects stated that Kenya was to set up a local Tribunal, within a given time, to try suspects locally under Kenyan laws. But it had a second rider. It stated that the suspects bearing the highest criminal responsibility would be tried by ICC if Kenya failed to set up a local Tribunal. Then what happened when the Govt presented a bill to Parliament to set up a local Tribunal? It was rejected by Parliament led by Ruto's supporters and they sang, "Don't be vague, let's go to Hague!". Ruto & Co therefore took themselves to ICC. Stop hiding behind Raila and Kibaki.

Listening to Uhuru ,there is no tangible wrong that Ruto did ,what I can gather is he could not withstand vitisho vya Raila .so he chose to disregard everything to please Raila ,typical of what happens in jail or boarding school ,where very weak students will give in to the bullies and handover their pocket monies, and in jail where other wafunguwas becomes wives to other inmates , simple because they gave in to the vitisho of other inmates ,despite authority in theses institutions. With all the government machinery because of his weakling up bringing he gave in to Raila , and this same tactic of vitisho we saw it being unleashed on Jim Wanjigi ,lets us wait and see if Jim will give in just like Uhuru or he will stand up and fight
