These Sand Boas are pretty intelligent because they use the sand to kill their prey! They made me glad I'm not a small animal since I don't want to die by being drowned in the sand.

97Orochi the Demonic Angel97 SSJ oh my gosh I know. I love to see them feed. They have a very fast strike and take their prey under the substrate. It awesome to watch.

They are probably easy to care for but how are their temeperament? These ones you showed seemed a little nervous but not too bad. I've heard that they're bitey and hissy so that's why I am hesitating getting one of them. Other then that, they have a good size and all and I don't handle my other snakes very much, but when I need to do so I want to feel confortable enough to handle a sand boa, or rather pick up the sand boa because that's what I'm most concerned about. 😅
@alexcrowder16732 жыл бұрын
So to be honest, when i worked at the reptile shop, there was a sand boa who would tag me all the time when i would clean her cage. I'd never know where she was, and she would pop up out of nowhere when i would fill her water or scoop her poop up. That said, it doesn't hurt at all. Ive taken worse bites from garter snakes. Once they are out they are awesome. You could consider taking them out with a cat litter scooper. It makes it easy lol. Make sure its clean of course though.

You said you were hoping for snows, so the anery is het for albino and the albino paradox is het for anery. Albino and albino paradox are two different genes. So a het anery and albino to a het anery and albino paradox won’t make snows.
@stlhogs3 жыл бұрын
Sorry the anery is also paradox. So I am looking for snow paradox
@jaimesjungle52103 жыл бұрын
The paradox albino is essentially just albino. Works the same but originates from a different locality to the normal albinos. So when you get PA's that are het for axanthic and Axanthic het for PA you do have a chance of hitting some paradox snows.
