The death of Queen Elizabeth II has prompted debate about the royal family and its colonial legacy.
In Kenya, survivors of Britain's abuses suffered in the 1950s, just after Elizabeth became queen, recall the atrocities they endured.
Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports Muiga, Kenya.

Because the Western media tends to hide their own war crimes and only show people with blue eyes and blonde hair as victims. They call Ukrainian rebels as heroes and Palestinian rebels as terrorists

Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

Thanks Al Jazeera for that well balanced, thoroughly researched and impartially presented clip. Maybe i should do a video about the time I was in a bar in Kenya, the only english person, full of locals, including the chief of police and got into apologising for British colonisation and EVERY single person talked about the benefits of it and how they wished it had not ended as the country started to go backwards afterwards!

Next time you are in Kenya you should have a drink with more self respecting Kenyans, The chief of police you are talking about is the filth that is killing our country. The Government simply carried on how the british used to rule, dividing us by tribe so they could rule. They made a mess and didn't stick around to clean it up, got their 99 year leases made us consumers of their goods, left tribal politics, The chiefs they used to opress us are the same people whose kids you were talking to in that bar

@@khoba9533 So you were there with us to know that chief of police is 'filth' or r u saying they r all filth? The people in that bar were all ages and all walks of life and that is what made me rethink colonialism. Well, my friend its a long long time since it ended so get on with on with making Kenya great again like it was before colonisation!

No you're a line white supremacist your problem or should I say the white person's problem going forward no one will trust your word on anyting that soft power hard power of course is behind the barrel of a gun. The soft power is something totally different this means people trust you and I respect you. I'm sure you can see now that's not going to be the case going forward the question is what are you going to do as a people globally continue to lie what do you think you have another shot at Colonial lysing the world again. As you know your app is primarily resource-poor so what are you going to do in the future

Britian just can't apologise and shouldn't. Apologising means you did Something wrong, wich leads to compensations. Britian ruled a 25% of the entire world. You can't compensate them all. Therefore you can't apologise
