Wish he stayed with the nets, he's play style was perfect since kidd was a instant fast break. they were the original lob city

Imagine they resigned Kenyon with Vince Carter joining them the following season and RJ developing into a very good athletic wing player. They would have made it to the Finals few more times with this squad.

@@Joseph-lz5er After Kmart was traded to get Vince I was pretty much done with the Nets. The guy was a beast and helped the nets get to the finals twice. Nets have never been back.

Oh the good old days. But not really so good I was so upset when Nets lost in these finals I was rooting hard for them because of Kidd and even more for K Mart still one of my favorite players ever.

Their biggest problem was the lack of a true go-to scorer. Kidd and Kenyon weren't scorers.

Imagine a team like that: PG: Jason Kidd SG: Vince Carter SF: Richard Jefferson PF: Kenyon Martin C: Alonzo Mourning All of them wore a Nets jersey, but never come together within the same team. I think that if this came to realize, New Jersey would be the best dunker team ever; one of the most entertaining to watch, one of the most dangerous team that has an incredible score potential via fast breaks and so on... Defense might have been a big problem; especially during play-offs, yet they would have a better defense than both Carter era Nets, and Martin era Nets.

I always felt kind of bad for Robert Horry in 2000's because he always had to guard guys like Kenyon Martin, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, Rasheed Wallace, Jermaine O'Neal, Elton Brand, Antoine Walker, Chris Webber, Karl Malone, Amare Stoudemire, Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol and others of whom many were in their primes 🤷♂️😀

Well i am sure winning 7 rings overcomes that lol

If THE NETS had prime DARYL DAWKINS or Prime MOSES MALONE.. they would have beaten the LAKERS👍
