If only Cousins had that opportunity to learn. Cousins lost over $400million in contracts and possible extension due to his temper and antics. He would have signed 5yr/$209m in 2017 and another $250m/5yr by now, had he stayed emotionally leveled. Kings owner made it clear his antics and fights don't fit their culture. Play the game professionally like Lebron does and make your money. Getting $209m extension in 2017 was only reserved for top 5 players in the league, that was how great Cousins was.

Given his superstar status at the time, most teams will wait for him to recover even if the injuries take 3 yrs, same way they have given Kawhi, Embiid, AD and Durant many chances. But Cousin's situation is different, it's his attitude, the league just don't want him around.
