All Black and rugby fan here. Excellent analysis. Rugby is treading a very precarious path imo with TMO, due an overhaul with consistency at the core and the referee trusting their instincts. Keo and Zels, I just want to say thank you for the great content and sporting analysis you have provided throughout the WC. I would download the episodes on my KZbin app and play them when I’m en rout. Your analysis and input has always been spot on and greatly entertaining (except when Keo said the AB’s would lose to Ireland in the knockout). But this is really a great platform to share analytically impartial information between teams in games. It felt like the Boks had to climb the Mt Everest of rugby in playing again the World’s top 5 teams, and that’s what makes this WC special for me. It is UNDISPUTED that the best team won the tournament as we did the harder route to back the 2019 WC. Director of Rugga Rassie and coach Jacque deserve all the credit they can get considering that state of Springbok rugby in 2017. They managed to maintain the core of the Boks from the 2019 WC squad. Experience counted a lot in the knockouts. Bringing back Pollard was a masterstroke, and having great depth on the 2023 squad ensured that we had a fresh pack for that crunch match against France in the quarters. The stories of the players in this squad is Box office stuff, I mean Siya’s story, Jesse’s, Cheslyn, Handre, RG, and Jean Kleyn, Mannie Libbok, I mean the list is endless. For me this was by far the best WC tournament, and dare I say the Boks player background, having to overcome adversity, win when it doesn’t seem popular, that’s part of the nucleus that gave this team the never say die attitude they have, that South Africa should embrace as a whole. Cheers 👋

Keo, Zels, well boys what can I say. I'm finally home, but I wish it would have gone on forever and that I could have stayed for more, if only there was more. Good news I still have keys to the house. Even better news a team in green I followed for 52 days won another RWC. I left for Paris on Sept 6th and traveled France up and down to see our boys in green and the best all the other teams had to offer. What a privilege to be there in person and see them all (the 20 teams) play. After 21 live pool games and 6 of the 8 live knock out games which included 7 by SA and NZ, 5 by the hosts France and Argentina, 4 by Uruguay, 3 by England, Namibia, Samoa and Italy, 2 by Chile, Ireland and Wales and then 1 by Scotland, Romania, Australia, Japan, Tonga, Georgia, Fiji and Portugal to round out the chance to see every team play at the tournament including getting to every host city and stadium. I can't even begin to tell you how good it was to be in France for the whole tournament. I started in Paris, Saint-Denis on the 8th hit Marseille on the 9th and 10th up to Lille for the 14th, Toulouse on the 15th, then Bordeaux on the 16th and 17th, Nice on the 20th .... I'm sure by now you can see the pattern. Yip this crazy Zimbo who grew up in SA, played High School and Club Rugby there for 20 years drove 12,263 km up and down France watching WC rugby. Best of the games/contests I saw live France v NZ, SA v Ireland, Uruguay v Namibia, Japan v Samoa, Fiji v Portugal, Ireland v NZ, France v SA, England v SA, NZ v SA. During my travels I had guys like yourselves, the eggcatcher, two cents rugby all running various podcasts for me to enjoy along the way, keep me laughing and awake, none more so than yourselves. As it was a busy trip with long daily drives to get to each game day match I was unable to participate, but I thoroughly enjoyed the shows. Think I got to see most of them so thank you for the entertainment and your contribution to my trip. The French around the whole country were great hosts, amazing people and even better fans. Thank you to all of them for having me. I've been trying to complete a perfect RWC (a live pool game every day a game is played starting with all 4 SA games, watch all the teams in the tournament play a minimum of one game live and get to watch a live game in every host city/stadium and in addition, a knockout game live everyday a knockout game is played) since 2007. I finally got it done. I still can't believe I got to do this and our boys went all the way with me and blessed all of us with another cup to sweeten the deal. Talk about having your cake and getting to eat it. Cherries on top. Amazing. Go BOKKE Go. You beauties. Can't wait to start planning for 2027 Australia RWC.

PSDT must be the best #7 in rugby history 2 man of match finals performances in winning teams, this year against the best teams ever.

The Springboks of the new dispensation represent what those who fought against the injustices of apartheid hoped for: a functioning new South Africa where everyone is involved in taking us forward while stronger together. Watching the politicians climbing on the bandwagon last week and the angry reaction from all of us gives me hope that we can do something about how they are ruining the Satafrikan Dream.

Dude. Please tell me what you are smoking. It's clearly working for you. Go sell crazy to someone else. No sportsteam ever helped a nation. What does it help to have hope if you can't feed your family.

Keo and Zels, it has been a pleasure watching your show. I was born in Zimbabwe and currently live in the United States and I'm a HUGE All Blacks fan (Jonah Lomu is guilty of making me fall in love with Kapa O Pango). The Boks (by virtue of my African-ness) are my second favorite team. I honestly believe that in this grand final, no team lost. Yes, the Bokke took home the trophy and are rightly 4-time World Champions but for my ABs to play like that with a man down for that long and keep it that close made me love them even more. I have never enjoyed an All Blacks loss the way I enjoyed this one. I wasn't even disappointed after the game. After the red card to Sam Cane, I thought the Boks were going to massacre us to be honest (we all saw that Twickenham shellacking, Lord have mercy). Thank God that didn't happen. After that game the depth of my pride in the ABs was unquantifiable. What they did in this final for me beats any of their World Cup victories in 2011 and 2015 simply because of the adversity they had to deal with this time around against the World Champion and Number 1 ranked Boks. To come within a whisker of dethroning that Boks juggernaut with a man less for perhaps 60% of the game was a sight to behold. In my eyes, the All Blacks also won. We lost the game with honor! I know for some people it's all about winning and bragging rights etc (testament to the toxic culture among fans). For me, how you play the game is also as important as winning. I would rather lose with honor than win shamefully. Both these teams showed us why they are the two best teams in rugby. So congrats Bokke. Up the ABs!

What a game between the 2 World rugby power houses. We couldn't have asked for a better Finale and so many life lessons from that 1 match. We are the Champions, again! The boys did us proud. Go BOKKE!!!

As an Irishman. Congratulations to the Boks. What a brilliant team. I thought the winning of the tournament was Colby,s charge down of Ramos...unbelievable! Always great to see World Cup winners in the Munster team 👏

Two of the most unbelievable performances by teams. The Boks retaining the RWC and Munster winning the URC by having to play 5 away games in a row. Amazing the path that these two great teams had to overcome!

Kwaga Smith is highly praised by NZ ex players and the greater rugby community. His work rate arguably on par or even greater than Peter Stef Dutoit. I attribute Kwaga fitness and work rate to coming through the 7's tournaments and the coaching mentality of those coaches. Perhaps there is something there in terms of doggered performance and work rate for future centers and loose forwards.
