Clarification, huenings DO have German blood (as far as I'm aware). Their dad was born in Brazil but they don't actually have any lineage there. If I'm not mistaken about lea, both her and Kai are American born korean-American while hiyyih was born in korea. Their dad is a tv personality mainly (if not only) in China. There are cute videos of the family on KZbin.

it was broken 4 months after by le sserafim actually , you should watch entire GG999 , it will be confusing if not. at the beginning they were spit in cells (1 korean,1 chinese and 1 japanese) and then starting with the middle of the show the cells were eliminated and they were compeing agasint the other nationality that was still one (koreans vs koreans, japanese vs japanese and chinese vs chinese until the debuting lineup). you should also watch a Class:y guide.

Hikaru passion for rapping is very high if you remember ep 4 Hikaru stated that rapping was her passion even more so than dancing she also wrote the rap verse for there pool party perfomance even tho it was short due to her language barrier also the second rap you heard from Hikaru in this guide was a self made rap from her and she barely knew korean at the time Also being under another company does not guarantee the members will stay there after the disbandment some could leave the company and join another depending on how they feel in Hikaru case she's supposedly in talks to join the XG after her contract ends but the decision is on her weather she wants to join or pursue something else in Chaehyun case she's under Wakeone by default because she wasn't apart of any company before joining GP999 this means she can continue under Wakeone after contract ends much like Jo Yuri or join another company

Kep1er is managed very similar to IZONE, you can expect a similar ending. IZONE's company OTR are managed by the merger name Wakeone. CJ ENM owns Wakeone and also Mnet. IZONE members went to -> IVE -> LE SSERAFIM -> Solo (Kwon Eun Bi, Jo Yu Ri, Yena). Expect similar things to happen after Kep1er disbands, i doubt you have heard the last of the members bc there is a good chance some of them end up debuting in a perm group that will very likely become successful. Kep1er have A LOT of content already, 1 predebut show (Kep1er view), 2 reality shows, Kep1er zone have 10 episodes, Kep-chup so far 11 episodes, a season 2 for Kep1er zone is confirmed, all of it translated to English even all their Vlives so far. Tons of variety shows left and right im not even gonna bother typing all that down, at this rate they are gonna end up with more content than some perm groups. To me they are totally worth getting into.

The members have said tht when it cms to business...yujin is very strict...with practice and other stuff...yujin is a strict leader...but other times she is very bubbly and fun leader....and she also helps them a lot with her experience of cameras and stuff....with the help of mashiro...she is managing well

I have basically the same experience of them as you and had been planning on watching this for a while now, so this was a nice surprise! 😁 Kep1er is really churning out content on their channel - behinds, vlogs, variety, you name it - and all of it is in 4K, which I really appreciate. 🤩 I totally fell for them on Queendom and Doublast sounds and looks super promising, so we're in for good times ahead.

What I love about the show GP999 is that so many of the girls have ended up debuting even if they didn't make the show's final lineup. Kim Suyeon in Billlie, Kishida Ririka, Chang Ching, Lee Yunji and Hayase Hana in Ily:1, and most recently Nonaka Shana in Lapillus. To answer a question you had. In many cases the girls chose which songs they wanted to perform, with a caveat. In some cases the girls chose based on rank, so the lower ranked members sometimes had to do the songs nobody else wanted. Sometimes there were caps on how many girls from each country could be in a group etc... For the first performance, for example, the groups of 3 girls (cells) that finished high in the morning mission got to pick the cells they wanted to perform with and then they picked the song as a group.

Ahhh I absolutely absolutely fell in love w kep1er in queendom so this was great to watch! I think so far Dayeon and hikaru have completely stolen my attention but I adore the entire group; except for maybe round 1(?), they’ve always had my top few favourite stages for their stage presence alone on queendom. 🥲 Btw idk if u realised it but xiaotings is actually a channel started by Lok from LKTV (reaction channel) which I guess is why this guide is so well made :)

I've been wanting to learn more about this group, and this guide was a really great way to do it, glad you got to this! I never really intended to get into this group because I was so wary of their temporary status, but I just can't resist after watching them on Queendom. So many likeable and talented members, I'm really excited to see what's next for them. Looking forward to this comeback!

Mashiro was a member of "Girls 2 Team" which was a group of seven girls who would later end up becoming Itzy with the addition of Lia. They appeared in episode 1 of the reality survival show ‘Stray Kids‘. Closest analogy would be any of the girls that appeared in Sixteen that didn't end up in Twice. (Lily from NMIXX also appears solo in the same episode!)

If I don't remember wrong Itzy could have debuted before Stray Kids did and Mashiro was a part of that girl group before even all of the current Itzy members was at JYP. A year or so before Itzy debuted JYP decided to kick out any trainee before 2000 so with Mashiro being born in 1999, she had no choice but to leave. Keep in mind that this is just a rumor I stubbled across like a year or two ago so I don't know if it's the whole truth but it has truths in it.

so, about the way they picked who would participate in which group line up in girls planet 999. it was different for every round !! - In the 1st round the cells who won an activity before the reveal of the mission for round 1 (they were divided in groups / teams of three -1 japanese, 1 chinese and 1 korean trainee - called cells in episode 1. they all HAD, as a cell, to rank high to survive for example) could choose who they wanted to have in their team for that round (I think it was a total of 3 cells, 9 trainees) and then after a discussion between them they could pick which song they'd want to perform. two teams could pick the same song for girl group songs and three teams a different song for the boy group side and they'd become rivals respectively. - For the 2nd round cells didn't exist anymore. Here every trainee was free to pick between 3-member teams (6 songs -vocal, rap and dance positions-), 6-member teams (3 songs -vocal+rap, vocal and dance positions-) and 9-member teams (2 songs and only for dance position). so that's how the teams were formed for this mission. they personally chose in which place they'd want to showcase their talents and felt most confident performing (although not everyone got the song they wanted because people ranked higher could pick first) - For the 3rd round it was us (people watching the show) who formed each team. I think it was on the Universe app that we had to pick which trainee we felt matched the songs prepared for this round and so the teams were formed because of it.

Think of it like the company lends out the idol for the group but in return, the idol gets recognition and fame until the contract ends and they return to their respective agencies where they'll most likely debut in another group, bringing along the fans and popularity they gained through the temporary group

They way they were split for the gp999 groups was different. Sometimes, they chose the song based on ranking, for a different mission, I'm pretty sure they chose on ranking bottom to top but it was also waterfalled so if a group was full but someone wanted to join, the lowest ranking person would be kicked out and had to join another group. There was another mission where the fans chose what groups/songs they'd choose.

Class:y is also a group to look out for! They came from a reality show called my teenage girl but they are a permanent group with a 7 year contract. I hope that you can check them out soon! I highly recommend their shut down and classy music videos!

i feel like the appeal of the "temporary group" IS disbandment like youre currently stanning 1 group that will eventually become many if that makes sense? all i know is before stanned ioi that eventually broke my heart a bunch of times since that group is kinda cursed(sure chungha is still a powerhouse but like pristin,gugudan and wekimeki struggling says hi) but then i stanned izone and now im in 3 solo fanclubs 2 group fanclubs lol
