I really like the flowcharts, and your enthusiasm. I might try to create the same. But I just cannot handle the sound of slurping coffee. I tried to jump ahead each time I saw you reach for your cup, but I suppose the Misophonia just won out this time.

I also created a combat matrix to help clarify what happens on certain combat rolls - doubles, defensive moves, crital hits and fumbles, etc, which is linked on the discord channel.

The author, somewhere else, explained that you check for door traps only if door is locked, otherwise there's no need for that check

Geekgamer also made me buy this game and I’ve loved it so much! I’ve been very lucky in my first playthrough though and I’ve reached level 5 now. I’ve definitely benefited from watching other videos of people playing the game too

Wow. Level 5! How long did it take you? I’m still only halfway to lvl 3, and still in my 2nd domain area! It’s such a fun game- once you wrap your head around the flow of play!

I’ve been playing some pretty long game sessions over the past two weeks since it arrived. I’m in my 6th domain, but it might be a better metric to say I’ve explored 84 rooms after going through the tutorial dungeon. And the tutorial dungeon got me halfway to level 2. Definitely have learned how to play the game better and better as I have gone on, but I think I’ve got it all going about right now.

My wife supplies my crafting side of the hobby. Can’t remember what the exact product is, but if you search “sticky tabs” for books you should fine things similar.

At around 1:11:30, you could optimize it even more, you rolled a d20 and just use this as the d10 for the defender, I think?

I flip flop around a lot about combat in this game. Depends on type of attack, if I need a hit location die. It’s fun, but can feel a bit muddy sometimes. I’ll get there.

Hmmm, weird, a torch should only last for 30 minutes, about 3 rooms with encounters.

A regular torch or lamp will last 20 rooms. Pg 84 of the core rules. It’s candles that only last 10 rooms.

If you love this tone, you'll go crazy on MÖRK BORG. So many grim, dark supplements for it also that makes it deep enough to bury you alive. Actually, just last year I ran a MB adventure where they woke up in the bone pit, deep in ancient temple for an ancient god of death. It was a processing center to separate the components of the dead for future elixirs and other merchandise for the obscenely wealthy. They have to adventure to win their skin, muscles, and fat and rebuild themselves into the semblance of a living being. That was just the beginning. To truly be sentient, they had to claim a soul and in doing so, claim someone else's past and class level.
