Since the govt has increased the taxes to 15% from close to zero in the last 6 years, smuggling is bound to increase. It is the easiest way to make money and I'm sure that people from all over India will be thinking about this.

The last call from swapna before absconding is to Anil who supposedly helped the gang to escape to safe haven of BJP ruled Karnataka. Also Central minister Muralidharan has made several comments which supports the smuggling gang. He claimed that the bag was not came as diplomatic baggage where as another minister anurag thakur overturned muralidharan s statement in parliament.
