Most of them are failed states like Cuba and Venezuela or human rights violators like China and Russia. One or two are somehow making it work like Vietnam. Privatisation was not introduced by Manmohan because he was some genius. That years USSR was dismantled and India didnt have any economical reliability without USSR. It has been covered extensively in Pradhanmantri Series.

Socialism was important post independence to help Indians, many of whom were in dire need of funds because of mass exploitation by the colonial government. But now it is important for India to shift towards a capitalist economy. Governments can be corrupt, willing to fill their pockets in exchange for a collapse of a business. But businesses, who invest crores of money in their ventures will not tolerate embezzlement or corruption within their own organisations, and that will help the business and the people. We started privatisation back in 1991, however we need to speed things up. Can't wait for Air India to dominate air travel once again and provide luxury even to economy class passengers.

This is what bisbo got paid, people should get convinced on privatization, and privatization is good for india, and present Gov is doing good going for everything on privatization... I'm not Congress supporter nor BJP but making some animation on Nehru as he is kicking JRD and forcefully acquiring Air India, showing Nehru in negative form.. by this logic sarder Patel kill thousands of Hindus and Muslims soldiers of Deccan army and forcefully acquired Hyderabad state and got Hyderabad in india. He did right for India so did Nehru. No one should get portrait in negative way the way Congress is getting portrait by BJP and some media houses. I guess Next video will be SBI getting private and BJP is doing good by doing privatization.

First order was done 10 planes then it rose upto 78 planes then 111 planes. Per head commission was increased as increase in no of planes. When Jet Airways was active they leased hangar space from AI, a Boeing 737 landing gear replacement was done within a day by a team of 5 Jet's engineers within a day while another 737 from AI Express lay beside it for similar replacement however, it took a week and 38 Air India engineers were put to the task! Government was afraid to allow private airline for similar reasons of raising a competition which they could never handle. That drop in profit in early 2000s was the emergence of private airlines and low-cost-carriers like Spicejet and Indigo. Tata is taking some radical steps namely dissolving the inefficient BOD, handing early retirement to senior employees with zero productivity and terminating posts plagued by over employment. Air Asia stake has been completely bought with Tony Fernandez ever so eager to exit even before the pandemic leading to a merger of both low-cost arms of AI Express and Air Asia into one entity however, it is yet to be known if Boeing 737s of Express will make an exit because their NG variant is no longer in production and MAX variant has and will not be ordered while multiple A320neos from Air Asia order are still in line or their A320 fleet will be absorbed into Air India's full service arm.
