Kadappara and Palakkuzhi Waterfalls| Palakkad|| കടപ്പാറ പാലക്കുഴി വെള്ളച്ചാട്ട വിശേഷങ്ങൾ||

Kadappara Waterfalls (also known as Alingal waterfalls) is located around 7 kms far from the Mangalam Dam in Palakkad disctrict of Kerala. The waterfall cascades down into a large pool, which is a good place for swimming and bathing. Vechles can reach till 200 meters from the waterfalls. Earlier, there was a trekking distance of 5 kms. Due to the same reason, only locals were aware about this hidden gem. Now travellers started visiting this palce. Its a compete plastic restricted area since the water is flawing through the forest. From Mangalam dam you can reach Kadappara waterfalls via the route Ponkandam. The place is located around 50 kms from Palakkad and Thrissur towns.

Thindillam Waterfalls is a wonderful place to visit in Palakkad district of Kerala. If you like mountain climbing, you can go from konnakkal kadavu to the waterfalls through forest. One has to trek around 2 kms through the forest inorder to reach the waterfalls. The waterfall itself is a beauty and also dangerous to reach underneath the fall.
This waterfall is locally known as Palakkuzhy waterfalls because of the village name Palakkuzhy. The village is covered by lush green hill slopes of coffee and rubber plantations. This place rubs border with the Peechi Wildlife sanctuary. It is located around 16 kms from Vadakkencherry in Palakkad district.
