1 thing to remember is that kerby has only played safety for 3 yrs total I think so he will continue to improve I think..especially with some competition in the safety room!

iffy wasnt playing free safety last year though, i think there will be a rotation but i dont think its going to be kerby that will be rotated. branch will probably rotate to nickel and SS and when they move branch they put iffy in.

Well Kirby is entering his third year and he came into the league and was just light up the league. And has been consistent good Iffy has problems with consistency. But Brian branch who played safety at Alabama has a higher ceiling in general. Especially when Ennis Rakestraw jr and amik Robertson can and probably will play nickel

Hmmm so he had two choices on that play…Either fight for 2 extra yards (he had already gotten a first down before going down so the 2 yards wouldn’t have mattered) against 3 defenders and possibly get injured for the year, or go down and stay healthy so we still have our best offensive player. Which one sounds better to you? Everyone knows in today’s NFL that defenders are aiming for the legs when hitting over the middle of the field bc that’s the only way they can legally hit someone anymore.
