I think the most frustrating part about these modern Polly Pockets for me is that all those details aren't painted. Like yes, not everything was painted in the old ones either, but there were definitely more colors around in general (+ more sticker details). These new ones make me itch with the urge to color in those details with paint. They'd be so much prettier! The lilypads would look especially beautiful!

Hi @kerchie Peacock compact represents india and peacock is the national bird of india and the picture on backdrop is "Taj Mahal" which is one of the Seven wonders of the world, Lotus is a national flower of india and saree is the traditional wear of india..its totallly india

The Peacock set is meant to be in India or Thailand. And the peacock is male - only male peacocks have bright tails. The girls are wearing sari dresses.

I’m not sure if you saw, but if you turn the knob that changes the scenery on the outside of the dog moped set and the feathers on the peacock set, the scenery inside of the compact will change too, from day to night.

I love the peacock set. I went nuts with glitter acrylic markers on mine and colored in all the tiny details. Especially every peacock design, I turned into vibrant colors to match the peacock on the outside of the compact.

I thought the dog was a kangaroo 😅. The escenario on the inside also changes, they have improved they illustrations, i like that. The elephant has a mouth open because mattel just took the same piece from the kangaroo day care set. I really don't like that they almost always use the same structure on the set's inside: a spining thing on the bootom a big hose scenario on the top, everything taking to much space 😢😢
