I'm glad you commented on her low range. I feel like people usually don't focus on the low range of sopranos and mezzos, especially in a song like this which is all about the belting, but Keri's low notes and so full and warm in this performance.

@kendallbeavers20524 жыл бұрын
O H M Y L O R D, I heard that first “memory” and I MELTED. It was SOOOOO gorgeous, ngl I’m making this comment before she had said anything but I just died. I felt like I had to share. The clarity in her voice was just so *chefs kiss* and I must say it was so so beautiful. I am so in love💕 Edit: omg her belt on dawning was magnificent, going from the lighter mix while also crescendoing up to that belt was so so beautiful, Thai women I just can’t- Edit of the edit: OKAY this time I swear that I’m done but... IS THIS WOMEN REALL???? Everything she does sounds so perfect, not necessarily effortless but with passion. When she got up to that big climax belt I was just in aw at her, it was so beautiful(I feel like I am saying that a lot but I cannot put these emotions into words) it was just so diverse, it had color, and her emotion at the end... you could feel it, I wish I would have been able to see her live. By no means am I a professional but I am still a singer, theatre actress, and music fanatic and I was just so amazed by this performance that I felt like I had to share my thoughts😂

You had the same jaw-on-floor reaction I had to it - one of the most exquisite vocal performances I've ever heard. She was born with an incredible instrument - and with her features she was born to play this part. Also kudos to the superb accompanist playing a Casio Privia digital piano. I've got a Privia! 😀 And applause to whoever was in charge of sound - they really had their stuff together and did this incredible performance justice.

YES, I have been WAITING for this. I saw her live on tour and her version of Memory gave me chills and immediately made me emotional. After the show my mom said she didn't think Keri was that good but I told her that she was amazing, and one of the best we've seen (CATS is a sort of tradition in our family, I've seen 4 or 5 tours). I'm so glad to see you talk about how good she actually is.

I love her. Cats is my all time favourite show. I saw her on tour in Detroit and at the end of act one when she’s singing the first Memory right after the Jellicle Ball and all of a sudden, an alarm starts going off in the building saying to evacuate because the basement was flooding. I told my mom that I wasn’t going to leave because again, Cats is my favourite show and people started to leave and I got mad at them. But then we found out, THE ALARM WASN’T EVEN FOR THE THEATRE. IT WAS FOR THE BUILDING NEXT DOOR!!!! It almost ruined the show for me

First Burn" is the fifth song in Hamildrops and was released in April, 2018. This was the first draft of the song Burn sung by Eliza in Act 2. It was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, produced by Alex Lacamoire and Mike Elizondo and performed by Lexi Lawson, Arianna Afsar, Shoba Narayan, Rachelle Ann Go, and Julia Harriman, who have each played Eliza in the show in various Hamilton companies.
