A genuinely action-packed vlog. Fairs are small and cheap, but they're visually intense. Lots of lights and color and some near seizure inducing motion. The highlight for me was when you were on a particularly wild ride, the type where most people are just trying to keep their eyes in their sockets, you spied Charlotte with a beer. Shoulda been a pilot.

I went to Uden in 2019 for the first time. Combined it on one day with Tilburg. (so you can imagine how many crazy rides I had done at the end of the day). I wanted to go to Uden because of the Devil Rock. It was 38 degrees celsius with a completely clear sky the afternoon I was in Uden. I was completely dying but the Devil Rock made it 100% worth it. Such an awesome ride.

I have ridden the "Turbo" about 10 times. The reason that it has turbo in its name because it is known for keeping on the turbo for 2 minutes straight sometimes. I had this happen on one of my rides and it can be INSANE. There is also this meme that most Dutch people know about the ride from a TV show. Great video as always Shawn!

For atmosphere, not much beats a Fun Fair. Action, lights, sounds, people and full speed all day and night :) €5 for that beer? Crazy! They are giving it away for free! It is impossible (besides in a store) to get any beer at that price here. Most likely the same mug would be €15 to €20 at least. (Store prices are somewhat between €3 to €12 for a box / bottle)

Jori Diculous that beer price is quiet normal on a fun fair, small beer's are like €3,00-3,50 large like €4,50 5,00 and the german big boys are like €6,50 + €10 borg for the big german glass.

When you said it is like our Funfairs back + everything is similar style to back home home but on a much bigger scale really! Oh come on Shawnie boy, I mean that is a really good size yes but our country has the same size ones or bigger or much bigger ones Like my local Fun Fair in Kent is either at Dartford Park or Danson Park in Bexleyheath Dartford one is like double the size + Danson Park Funfair is Triple the size of this Funfair being at a whopping 582-acre -But they obviously don't use nowhere near that amount for the Funfair lol

Funnily enough, Heart braker was meant to come to winter wonderland back in 2015 and was originally in the park map. I think it didn't come due it needing maintenance

The generic name for the Turbo ride, and the many others like it, is the Polyp. An ‘octopus’ is what Carters have - a completely different type of ride. It seems strange to say it now, but Alton Towers used to operate two Polyp rides at the same time, just in different areas of the park. They were older models, with non-spinning cars, but looked much the same as the one in the video, nonetheless. That was a long time ago, though.

Sidenote: The ride at 29:00 is called "Turbo Polyp" or "Carribaen Beach Party". It's basically just octopus ride (Schwarzkopf Monster III) but the original flooring and gondolas were destroyed due to a fire. Even tho the gondolas aren't the original, I think they look awesome. Also, if you spin in this machine, it's a really really intense ride!

Seems like my wife and I have been following in your footsteps recently. So far this year we've done Disney World (all 4 parks), Universal Orlando (both parks), Busch Gardens Florida, Sea World Florida, Canada's Wonderland, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Southport Pleasureland (my home park), Alton Towers, Portaventura, and Ferrari Land. Uden. To me still the smaller city that is great, between the big cities of 's Hertogensbosch, Nijmegen, Venlo and Eindhoven. And I named Den Bosch by its proper title there (compare Newcastle +-), 'cause having lived in North-Brabant for seven years or so, I have to give the capital of the province which still is in my heart the proper regards. Uden really is the centre town in the middle of all the countryside and villages between those four big cities. Hence its kermis is like this.

I think you should do an Cali trip soon, you could revisit sfmm and ride west coast racers and u haven’t been there in a while, you could also go to Star Wars land at Disneyland and you haven’t tried guardians of the galaxy yet, you haven’t been to sfdk and they added a rmc which is underrated, then you could try great America with a great Gci and a rmc raptor which you have not tried yet and a great invert. This trip would be amazing

If you want to visit the 3rd biggest kermis in the Netherlands, you have to visit the kermis in Weert. It s in the south of the Netherlands, it s also one of the cheapest big kermis’ in the Netherlands. It s always the last weekend of September!

1:45 the heartbreaker was built by mondial and the Huss magic isn’t the one that came to winter wonderland it’s a completely different machine. Devil rock is also a Huss.

€5 is pretty reasonable, especially at a fair in 2019 😂 - A beer at Liseberg will set you back nearly a tenner!

The experience I've had with buying such beers, it's usually 3,50 maximum. 5 euros is very expensive, even though it wasn't a regular small cup.
