The BBC fixed it that's why. They deliberately let the winner (already known by BBC viewers of All Together Now) to compete with unknowns which ruined 5 others, then 3 didn't get through (BBC told them to make sure Michael got through) then they judged a vocal on that day F vocals look at Iceland theirs were dire yet great beat which is what won for Sweden more than once...BBC are dull and corrupt (Hall is in the IBU) we need ITV to take it over and revamp it stop automatically paying for the BIG CHEESE 5 and make sure the selection is on a Saturday the last time we got 5th because it was on a show yet BBC changed that weird why not continue what worked?

I liked it despite it being questionable (controversial gets votes sometimes see Icelandic Hatari) we even had brilliant Love City Groove and Imaani I adored them. Sweden copied our acts. So did Netherlands

So after coming last place. I thought I’d come to Kerrie’s performance and I genuinely believe this would have got us at least 10 places ahead of where we finished last night but also another issue is BBC’s staging. Other countries have such extravagant staging with upbeat dancers and what not I really think we need to cash out some more on staging. I really think ITV (who are also part of the Eurovision Broadcasting Union) should be handed the job from here on now (perhaps they could always send the X-Factor winner as an automatic prize ahaha)!

Same.... I've just re-listened to it and it's not bad at all. I think that Michael Rice had a masterclass vocal which is what everyone kept comparing all the other artists to, and that's why people were dissapointed. Kerri Ann actually has an amazing voice.

I really disagree that this should have won, it shouldn't have, yes it has a catchy instrumental, but her lyrics are overshadowed by the background music, she has a lovely voice, but I feel like the song that we are sending has such a powerful message. We have sent catchy songs to EuroVision before that still get bad results, Portugal won recently, with a song that had a powerful message and the singer himself stated that music doesn't always have to be 'fireworks' it can have real emotion, and another example was Ukraine who won, with an emotional, yet 'non-catchy' song, sometimes songs that are slower can win, it doesn't always have to be in the Dance genre. EuroVision doesn't usually attract those type of artists, but it should showcase all different styles of music, not just up-beat, cheesy songs, to me, this is more forgetful.
