This is basically the music we expect from Kerry King. It's what he's been doing for the last 30 years. Not gonna be groundbreaking, or new. Mark Osegueda is a brilliant singer.

He came out and said this is going to sound like Slayer. He didn’t hide it or deny it. He literally said I had songs already written for another slayer album that I’m using for my stuff since Slayer is no more.

@@MoSweiti666 I know reaction videos probably get more clicks with negativity but I truly don’t know what people want or expect. The fact we are still getting some new in the shadows of Slayer is a plus or win to me. I mean what’s out that’s new that just blows this out the water. I’m curious to know from some of these guys.

The other lead guitarist is Phil Demmel, who was in Machine Head for a huge chunk of the bands career.

Kerry said in a recent interview if they would’ve made another Slayer album that 80 percent of what’s on this album would’ve been on the Slayer album. He said they also tried a bunch of other names for the band but they couldn’t find any that they really liked so they all decided to go with Kerry King for the name.

Really didn't hear a Slayer sound in it,maybe I'm wrong but sounded like a good departure from what King had done for the 30 years prior

The drummer was from Slayer, the bassist was from Hellyeah, and the guitarist was from machinehead.

It's pretty much Slayer 2.0 which I'm not really going to complain about 😂. Will say that Kerry really missed a opportunity not calling the project King Slayer 😂.

Two songs in, not completely sold yet. I like it better than Idle hands. Great solo and Mark sounds really good . He's one of the best vocalists in thrash. The guy has an amazing singing voice too. Good choice for a vocalist.

The bassist is the bassist of hellyeah amd bloodsimple the brother of troy sanders of mastodon , the drummer is the drummer of slayer the last one , kerry , death angels vocalist and the other guitarrist is phil dammel ex machine head and vio-lence. lml so yeah its a super group actually😅

SLAyER perfected the pyro before they went out! Now everyone is using it since that 2019 tour. Kerry had to show em who was the best with the pyro one more time! Badass song! I wanna hear a guest vokill with Phil Amselmo at least once on the 2nd album. Before doing these vids, maybe learn Phil Demmel and Mark Osegueda's names first. Just to say, "he let 'the other guy' do the solo" is an affront to the fans that have listened and watched these guys for years. I still gave ya a thumbs up for effort tho, Metal is alive in 2024!

Same here. I'm cool with either. Sakis Tolis' solo stuff sounds exactly like Rotting Christ since he basically IS Rotting Christ. But I'd have preferred Corpsegrinder's solo stuff to not sound like Cannibal Corpse.

I kinda was thinking the same about the name like when Dime and Vinny went off to do Damage Plan and even Phil's stuff was named a group name. I couldnt tell but it almost looked like Gary Holt playing the lead it would make sense, but I'm not sure. Do like it though.

Apparently Kerry King said alot of these songs were written while he was in Slayer but never made it on any albums which is cool cause i bet alot of good songs never see the light of day from every band

Let me school everyone about this album. Not to sound arrogant lol fuck shit. This album clocks in at around 45 min. I would eliminate 5 songs from this album and consider this the most intense thing Slayer album since RIB. And that's saying a lot coming from me because I think Jeff H. was the fucking shit. This record Kerry has put out is INTENSE. Bur, it's bogged down by filler. Pretty much all the "singles". I was ready to bail on it until I heard the whole fucking thing. Love it. Also, beer.

imo - felt like 6 of the old Slayer riffs (most notable songs) chopped and hammered together. Sounds good, as I've always loved Slayer, but it felt lacking

Mark gave it his all on vocals and sounds great, Phil did a good job on lead too. I like the first single more, this was a pretty boring song to me. Sounds like it could have been one of the more middling tracks off the last two Slayer albums.
