Thank you Kerry. You've been a staple in my life since 75. I'll be 60 in late January and I listen to you almost every day. Kansas Original 6 is it. ✌💀👍😔🙏🎸🎼🎵🎶🇺🇸❤🌹

Don't know why I took so long to finish all the parts. Finally listened to parts 10-13 tonight. God Bless you Kerry Livgren. You are a musical genius. You compose and play my favorite music, and always have. Thank you John Bowes for putting together this critical archive of info for history!

John, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this mini-doc! I've been a huge Kansas fan since I first heard them. Vicki's mom lived near me and we somehow met. It was shortly after Kerry came to faith and she gave me a copy of Seeds of Change. I was very involved in church music ministry and was so happy to hear about Kerry's new faith. Soon afterwards I was at Whitewater, Atlanta and recognized Kerry and Katie and approached him and asked "Are you Kerry Livgren"? I can't remember if any music by AD was out at that time (I bought all of their CD's), and Kerry may have thought I was a stalker so he kinda drifted away from me. I was thinking about Kerry today and decided to try to find out what was going on in his life; so now I feel "caught up". I binged and watched every part of this today! My eyes started sweating when Kerry told about his playing after the stroke; I have peripheral nephropathy and very little feeling in my finger tips so I'm in the same boat. I see so many absolute miracles in Kerry's life, the Cesna landing out of the fog, Vicki asking him to marry her, and the two mega hits that he wrote "on the spot", and walking in the music store as the guy was hanging up HIS Les Paul! Kerry is 4 days shy of two years older than me. I still have my '67 Gibson Trini Lopez that I worked and saved up and bought in the 10th grade! I wish I could thank Kerry for the thousands of hours listening to his wonderful music.

Kerry has inspired me since I was 14 years old. I heard "Wayward Son" on the radio by Kansas. I went to the record store; yes it was that long ago! I bought every album from the self-titled "Kansas" up through "Leftoverture". Never stopped following his journey except during the period of '14 ~ '16 when I was recovering from a health "setback". Anyway- I love this guy & will forever be greatful for the original Kansas, Seeds of Change album, and all the A.D. stuff he did. Thanks, Kerry!

Great interview. Yes his music has help me walk through my life with Christ. In the past twenty four years that I have been in the Navy your music has went with me. I just wish there was at least a mention of, When things get electric. I never get tired of listening to it.

Wow. I had heard that he suffered an horrific stroke. I see absolutely no evidence of sustained damage. A very articulate man.

I've listened to and have been motivated/inspired by many bands/artists (Kansas, A.D., Yes, Rush, Dream Theater, Flying Colors, King's X, etc.). Never has a songwriter touched my soul the way Kerry has. As a drummer, I'd love to contribute to his contata, but I'm sure Phil Ehart has that covered (he's great). Can't wait to hear it....

Delivered with such finality. Glad he was okay with that, ‘cause it got a bit morbid there.
