thanks to them, I got the fraxion on a whim during Black Friday. It's now one of my EDC knives. It's SO light and the action SO smooth! I would've never gotten it otherwise, cuz it looks ugly and Tron-like corny sci-fi looking. Came sharp out the box, too

People hate on the natrix just because it was overhyped. Everyone had it in they’re head that it would be this incredible superknife. If kai would have quietly released this knife, and let people kinda discover it on their own, I think it would have been a giant success. I would buy one if they used 14c28n instead of 8cr13mov

On the black Fraxion, rest your fingers on the clip and it makes a pretty good front thumb flipper. Mine is hard to flip also.

Starting later this year, all Natrix models will be going to KVT ball bearing pivots instead of being Speedsafe assisted openers. Will Frankie like it more when that happens?

I personally think the subframe lock is pretty cool but I can see how she could think it looks cheap, I personally haven't bought it because I don't care for assisted knives and I'm happy the 2018 ones are manual and the made in America aluminum "bare knuckle" excites me

Bought one last year in the first release. At first I didn't like it... it was too light for me, 2.8 oz. The action, even assisted, was a little "grindy". After cleaning and lubing it was better. Out of my knives, I would give it a 5.5 out of 10. I'll keep it because of the back story of the Microtech/KAI battle and ensuing win by KAI. It's OK, just my opinion. Anxious to see what the copper does for this model. Keep laughing guys!

🌿Hey birdshot,🐥 I just bought the kershaw natrix in the blue g10 with carbon fiber overlay edition. Its VERY stiff (out of the box) on the framelock and flipper as well. Do you have any sugesstions on how to fix this. Very hard to close and taking it apart is complicated and already cut my thumb closeing this knife. Herd alot of people are having this same problem. I like the design of the knife and wouldnt want to get rid of it. Please help.💡Maybe you can do a video adjusting that knife!!😊 Thanks, and thanks for all your kershaw reviews.👍 Buhh.... Bye

The blue your saying is real blue looks more purple then the blue your saying looks purple. & I think the sub frame lock gives the knife a more premium look I don't see how it looks cheap.

The Cutjack is a navy blue while the Natrix is more of a softer blue. Both are definitely blue for sure though, sorry Frankie lol

I agree that it isn't the most beautiful match with the colors they chose to go with on this one. However, the other color is pretty nice looking from what I've seen. Maybe you will both like the other color. I'm glad you made this video because it is the reason for me to pick up the other color because I don't really like the one in this video and I probably would have ordered this color and regret it but I think the other one is a good purchase with the D2 upgrade. I wouldn't want the 8Cr13MoV as an edc.

Hey you guys I have been watching/enjoying your videos especially those on Kershaw knives. Any chance of you doing a comparative video on three Kershaw knives?, the Natrix the Bareknuckle and the XL Natrix? I have a Dividend in aluminum which I like but the handle is a little too short. I also have a Natrix which is a little better longer fit in my hand than the Dividend. As soon as I go to a saber grip (thumb on top of the blade) I find the Natrix still a little on the short side though it is ok in a hammer grip. So I am looking for handle which is a little longer and a little wider at the heel. I am looking for a longer and wider than the Natrix so the real comparison would be between the handles of the Bare Knuckle and the XL Natrix. Can you help me out? Neither of these knives are locally available to go and have a look at. Hoping that you have a Bare Knuckle and an XL Natrix. Your comments would be most helpful. Thanks. (my hand span is 9" thumb tip to pinky tip)

I know this is an old video, but still have to comment. I have to agree that the Natrix that was in the video is definitely blue. Not purple. Sorry Frankie. Frankie seems so hard core sometimes. lol She kept saying the Natrix will never be the ZT 0777. It's also 1/5th the price and Kershaw was just paying homage to the 0777. I personally think Kershaw did a great job with the Natrix and love the sub-frame lock. I do think it'd been way cooler if they would have used D2 instead of 8cr13mov. Great video guys.

No matter how many blades I get and how much I pay I've always liked Kershaw, but not this one ...I don't like the fuller or the lock bar at all but I do feel like it would perform well but anything I spend my money on have to dig the astetics and on this one I dont. I don't think its a good idea to make a cheap version of something expensive.what I've always liked about Kershaw is unique designs at an affordable price
