I pre-ordered one and waited close to five months. In a word, I love it. It was very tight from the factory. I used some razor oil on it and flicked it for a few days until it smoothed out. Now it opens like butter. My son fell in love with it, so I ended up giving it to him. It only took a couple of weeks for the copper handles to develop a worn patina. Blade steel seems nice and holds an edge pretty well. I ended up going for the bare knuckle model because I like a larger knife.

Thanks Bryan. It's finally here. Wow. This is a nice reminder, for me too. On just how small this knife is. I didn't pre-order it, but I did pre-order the Bareknuckle . Hopefully, we'll get more copper from them, in the future.

I like kershaw's D2. I got the Cqc-6k in D2 used it all summer doing roofing/carpentry, and still crazy sharp. Holds an edge really well! This is next on my list

Sweet video. I wish my hands didn’t sweat, I get sweaty hands several times a day which makes choosing knives with grippy handles more of a requirement for me. Spring assist knives are illegal in Australia but I’ve had a ball bearing natrix and it was a great EDC knife. I would love if this new mystery ZT was a 0770 on bearings, that would be one sweet EDC.

I received the MidwayUSA in stock notice, ordered one at a good discount, and saw them sellout in a few minutes. This morning, mine arrived. I was expecting it to be very tiny, so small looked large. It fits perfectly in my jeans 5th pocket. The copper already looked weathered and the stone wash blade complimented that character. Mine does not have the partial rattle yours does. When closed, there is a slight movement around the detent ball, but that is no problem. Fit and finish is very good though the edge is slightly uneven. I needed a magnifying glass to read the tiny “China” at the base of the blade. (I have no issues with China made knives). The D2 marking is on the blade, lock side, as “7006CU KAI D2.” The copper scaled are milled out inside. My only negatives so far are the lock mounting screws, which interfere slightly with pulling the knife the knife from my jeans 5th pocket. It works well with my other pockets. So far, I am pleased with the purchase, but those are first impressions.

So jealous. I have the blue and carbon fiber natrix and to be honest I really like it. I feel so bad to say that but it's really a good knife. I will be getting a copper one as well but for totally selfish reasons. I was a roof for 20 yrs and specialized in copper roofing so I am really fond of everything copper.

That rattle will be the stop pin slightly loose - you don't hear it in the closed position or fully open because in both positions there is pressure on the stop pin from two respective sections of the tang. Either add some grease to the stop pin holes when you dis-assemble or superglue one side of the pin and the rattle should disappear :-)

Fav knife of years dont think you will see many they had mad problems with quality if you get a good one hold on to it .it will go the original 0777 and tilt way.mine potinas but i can get it to look brandnew with a wipe of fliyz

I love and hate copper. It's beautiful but always makes my hands smell after use. I really like how they do the lock bar on the Natrix.

Every time I visit my local knife shop I want to buy the Natrix but I find the handle a bit sharp and pokey and end up buying something else, I want to like this knife, it looks awesome. Do you find this handle comfortable? I am looking forward to trying it out.

I have 2 tilts and three original 777 with the Damascus spine.i spent allot of cash on them. !allot!.i think the new copper natrix will be in this rare list of777 and tilts.i feel they will only do one more run if that.mine copper natric is perfect.it had dead on centering and zero blade play its just perfect.i was able to put a hair splitting edge on it with my wicked edge.the reason the original 777 was discontinued was the Damascus spine seperated after steel aged.so in one of mine there is a separation of atleast a hair or two and getting worse.the other two are starting to warp also with no use but kept in a case with silica and a dehumidifier.the original 777 was not made properly that is why it was discontinued and the new ones do not have the Damascus spine wich is the reason why it was so popular..i dont think the original 777 would hold up to light use.its a framed piece.the tilt is better but just not a hard use knife also.i used one and it warped hard to sharpen and belongs in a case these knives are not users. This is why they only had one true run .the copper natrix atleast mine is a true hard use collectable.get one now cause i feel it is hard to produce pluss copper isnt cheap and kershaw is known for a two run must have knife.just my opinoin on years of kershaw knives.i feel the backorders will be filled then it will be discontinued.i love mine.perfect gentleman's knife that can actually cut .the d2 steel is top notch.i put a 19 degree edge with my wicked edge and it can cut anything and it will not dull for awhile.get one before they land in the original 777 and tilt purgatory.

I've read a lot of bad reviews. I also posted a not so good review at Knife Center. Blade is off center. But that's not the bad part. When closed, the detent ball is way too small for the hole in the blade. So when closed it has a lot of blade play. Took it apart and it's bad. The hole is almost twice the size of the detent ball. Also two of the frame screws are stripped. Guess you got a good one. I waited 10 months for this damn knife. Not pleased.

I just got one July 2019 and I hate it. It's a really hard flip even after loosening the pivot screw. It takes skin off my finger it's so hard. If I loosen the pivot too much the blade center gets thrown off. The frame lock bar is too slim and tight as well and is very difficult to release the blade.

I love everything about this knife but the fact that it isn't a full four finger knife ends the discussion for me. I won't buy it. Its really disappointing. I've been carrying the WE Rectifier lately and the handle on that is the shortest I will go for. The Natrix's handle is about 1/4 inch shorter than the Rectifier.

You hands can swat, but it wont patina the finish. If your body is acidic and then touching the metals, it will patina.

There are other knives with D2 and ceramic bearings that offer a bigger blade and handle for the same money, Way to small for me. Kershaw should have left it in it's original size.

I buy a couple blades a month and will never use knifecenter ordered a knife in stock only to find out it wasn’t after a couple weeks of waiting for the knife to be in stock I gave up and canceled they definitely lost a great customer who spends a ton of cash on knives it’s an addiction buy from DLT Trading great company free delivery 2/3 days until it’s delivered and in your hands every time I’ve bought a knife from them and that’s alout of orders.
