that happens to characters they (korean voice directors) consider as handsome, even if they're short male. look up for xiao's and kazuha's korean voices. the rest of short male characters are given younger male voice

EN voice - Which characters are going to be a mute / replaced? 😂 JP - Consistent amazing quality, It's always a joy when Ajaw comes on screen. JP Ajaw Kinich combo is just too good. But man, it's damn depressing looking at the state of EN Dub. Even though I dont ever use EN Dub, I feel bad for those who do. Hope it gets resolved

I've always played in EN dub but when I heard their VAs are on strike therefore reducing most of their cast mute on dialogue (i.e. iansan, kinich)I have to switch to JP. And holy hell what a joy to hear junko-san and sugiyama-kun as kinich and ajaw bahahah. Should've switched to JP sooner I love their dialogue more there.

I love JP dub, so I always play with it. I'm also used to listen to their voices in EN because of livestreams and trailers. But it always felt very very different, there is no similarity. Now, listening to KR and CN, I noticed the voice tone and pitch chosen for every character is very similar to JP, so it makes it much better to change between them than with EN.

God the few times you actually hear Junko Takeuchi sounding like a girl and not as a boy XD. Naruto anime didn't even let her voice the Sexy Jutsu. Even Kuromi wasn't that high pitched. I was surprised she even voiced Metabot after hearing the English dub.

​​@@viggaogotohku97 it's not that easy and quick, for the VAs to switch studios, they'll have to find ways in amending their contract and get the most efficient way to find a loophole Aside that even if they do find, there will be a lot of complications to fight in case fermosa tries to sue the VAs I don't see it end by next patch too Hopefully by 5.6 or 5.7 this issue is resolved

The other dub sounds like ajaw trying to mock her, while jp is straight up mimicking as much as possible, adding the plus point for the mockery lol Btw i suggest just put the scene where ajaw say the line, no need for the other unnecessary dialogue so it'll get straight to the point. Though you might trying to adds up the duration but i think we all know most of us just skip through it to listen the line immediately.
