I think Faiyaz Khan Saheb has also sang the same Ghazal!!!! What a treat !!!!!
@ArchismanMozumder7 жыл бұрын
I can't recall Faiyyaz Khan's recording of this Ghazal but you must be correct. This style of singing was typical of Faiyyaz Khan's 'gayaki' & it is well recorded that he was an admirer of Zohrabai's singing.
@vinaypande7 жыл бұрын
its the only ghazal recording that Faiyaz Khansahib made (that I am aware of). Its up on youtube..
@ArchismanMozumder7 жыл бұрын
@vinaypande. I looked up on KZbin & located faiyyaz Khan's version. Many thanks. You are perhaps correct about this being his only recording of ghazal. Of course, he has some some Urdu lines in his famous renditions of 'baabul mora' & 'banaao batiyaan'.

Nice accompaniment on Sarangi for the Kesarbai track. Assuming Ustad Abdul Majid Khansahib.
@arupsengupta70495 жыл бұрын
Thaksfor remembering Majid Khan sahib. His generosity allowed us to listen many unheard music ok Kesarbai, later released on 6 cassettes by rhythm house Mumbai.🙏
@PokriPoki5 жыл бұрын
@@arupsengupta7049 are you sure it was by rhythm house and not Shaan Audio Products?
@ArchismanMozumder Жыл бұрын
@@PokriPoki I think it was an Ahmedabad based music label, Sudeep Audio. Will be happy if someone confirms or rectifies this comment of mine.
