her manager was terrible with her. he made image into a party girl druggie all while he was apparently drugging her and taking advantage of her and then wouldn’t release her from her contract. she’s still in it to this day. it was heartbreaking seeing pictures of her crying in court when the judge ruled against her being free from her contract :(

I'm not sure how much of that is true. Kesha was a grown ass woman she signed a contract and fell into the party lifestyle drugs that's all on her. Can't blame her manager for those things now the music contract is another story

The reaction from her as she hears and feels the PAIN in this song, she either has a ton of empathy or relates (like an unfortunate amount of women and men do) and you can read it from her face as the song progresses.. AMAZING reaction. Thank u

Loved the reaction! Just so you guys are up to speed, she’s still locked in that contract, but is able to work with new producers to release music. However her abuser is still holding her hostage and she had to pay him over 300k earlier this year. It’s still ongoing unfortunately

Kesha had come a long way and she is a strong girl. I respect her for it an many of the artists that go through what she went through and managed to find the strength to fined themselves. She’s amazing.

So, Praying was her response to abuser who is not to be named. He prevented her from producing new music. Kesha is a verifiable genius, writing songs for so many artists. If you can't see the genius of Kesha, frick. Off.

She (now a he) is a Filipino singer that went viral in the early 2010s, performing on Oprah and Ellen several times, releasing a single with Iyaz, was on the show Glee for a few episodes, and was even invited by Celine Dion to do a duet with her at Madison Square Garden (the performance was aired on Oprah)! I guarantee you'll be blown away by this performance. Thanks again, and greetings from the Bay Area

I think it was Prince's house but not 100% , it was a late night show. Jimmy Fallons' i think. It blew me away too...🤗 Her first song with Flo-Rida, she didnt get a penny. Then everywhere she went she heard herself and didnt get any money for any of it. That was the beginning and it just got worse. IF youre curious, look for A documentary about her tragic story. Then watch this video again..😢💔

I completely disagree that this song is sad. The opening monologue is but the song builds up to her breaking free and fighting all the wrong doing and suffering she went through. Shes finally free and is starting a new chapter in life. The song is about hope and not letting anyone take away your fire and spirit. The video even shows that. When the bird arrives it gives her back colour. She can get up and walk on water and walk away from the abuse she went through. It made her stronger. It's a very powerful and freeing song. Not sad at all.

Kesha didn’t break into puff’s house. She broke into PRINCE’s house (as in the artist passed).... and it wasn’t a demo. It was her entire first CD, released. She was already signed. Then she told this story on Fallon. It’s not hard to take five minutes out so that your facts don’t mix up two people, one of whom is dead.
