About the Video:
Can you finish a comic book in 5 Hours?
Where I have to do the designing and drawing the environment design, the character design and the storytelling of the comic.
Well, apparently the answer is 'YES' and that's exactly what I did with this impromptu drawing challenge with the folks at my studio.
I tried to up the stakes by betting $1500 on the line with the condition that if I don't finish the comic in 5 hours, one of them was gonna get the *ching ching*💰
But unfortunately, as you can see, they couldn't beat me...
cause I AM SPEED!
And as a result of this fast paced, adrenaline rushed challenge, a beautiful comic was born out of it. Sounds cool right? What can you make in 5 hours? well, your answer is down below for you to read :)

I first read this story when I was 10. This story inspired me so much to make a little differnce every day. I promised myself that I won't throw garbage here and there from then. Now I am 20, and still now, from the inspiration of this story I don't litter randomly. At least the city has less random garbage thrown by me.

I think this is a fascinating application of Scott McCloud’s 24 hour comic challenge. Although one aspect of this challenge & NaNoWriMo many miss is the, come to the challenge with the toolbox you currently own so you can see where your progression & regression through time. Like adding the date on your sketchbook & sketches.

Very true! Keeping track of the progression has been a lot easy these days, especially when Documenting it on video. I should try the 24hr comic challenge..would live to see what I can come up with

@@KeshArt I think the simplicity of the 1st comic (available via Mr McCloud’s site) is an inspired example of keeping the 24 pages simple & just telling the story. I’m hopeful you make an attempt just because I know it will be a something we can collectively learn & draw inspiration from.

Instead of procerate, you could've used clipstudio paint for ipad Got so many shortcuts for blocking colors and do a comic

Really enjoyed the video, the comic was very good but if you just perfect some things up like using fonts in the speech bubbles, putting accurate shadows and straight the lines of the panels, it would be a bestseller tbh... Love from Bihar 💙
