Windy Day is really such a stand out on Oh My Girl's discography along with Closer. You can't get those two songs anywhere else. It's actually more mindblowing when you see Oh My Girl's choreography for Windy Day. There's a specific fancam where you can see the formations and they're amazing.

Cupid was such a fun and underrated debut. Not Oh My Girl’s fault though. A LOT of girl groups were debuted around the same time.

It was hard back then, I know people are sad that they are a bit underrated, but man, I'M SO HAPPY THEY STILL HERE, a lot of groups have been disbanded even with promising future, so the fact that they have been able to keep with their careers, their emotional first win with Secret Garden, the blessing that Queendom was and the huge success of Nonstop are just really strong points on their career as a group.

In case you guys were wondering about A-ing, all four songs on the album are covers of classic K-pop songs, re-arranged to have a more contemporary sound. The title track, "Listen to My Word (A-ing)", is a cover of the hit song by girl group Papaya, originally released in 2000. It features reggae duo Skull and Haha and has reggae influences and a hip hop beat. Mimi did write her rap though

I remember how Windy Day's Segments (Verse, Pre Chorus, Chorus and Hook) all shows the difference levels of 🍃 Winds that we experience. Liar Liar is my all time fave song and I remember that most people disliked how High Pitched it was.

If you end up watching their videos in order, you get to hear the dual fun and fairy vibe. There are also a lot of easter eggs in their MVs, little moments that connect to previous MVs. All their title tracks talk about the ups and downs of love, but in the context of the MVs and the personality of the girls, I say, their music is more of an ode to friendship.

OH MY GIRL is the only KPOP girl group that has maintained almost one concept until the end, and is a unique group that has struggled to reach the top tier. Step 1 - Innocent or cute Step 2 - Casual sexy or sporty Step 3 - Sensual sexy or 'girl crush' However, OH MY GIRL has firmly developed the concept of "a little secretive and eccentric but lovely" designed during its debut. In the middle period, they were sometimes classified as so-called "B-class and second-class" by the brutal Korean public, but they remained unfashionable and steadfast in their beliefs and principles. As a result, it is still classified as the highest level, even though it is a group with seven or eight years, which is not common in the KPOP market. Conventionally, or in order to gain popularity, most girl groups have almost obligingly followed that three-step course. Ironically, only BLACKPINK, TWICE, and OH MY GIRL, who were faithful to one concept among the hundreds of girl groups that debuted at the same time, have survived to this day, and the rest of the group that followed that course disappeared without a trace. The current most popular girl groups, so-called "fourth generation," are no longer swayed by that course and present their own concepts and directions. One of the good examples is Oh My Girl, and they should be more highly regarded than they are now, especially in that they are top tier girl groups that have been pushed forward and completed by small entertainment agency.

@@첼시-v1g Currently, East Asia is almost the only place in the world where the concept of "girl group" remains, and frankly, girl groups from Japan, China, and Taiwan are not interested. Korea is leading East Asia as a whole in the cultural world. It's overwhelming. Throughout Asia, only Korean girl groups such as BLACKPINK, TWICE, (G)I-DLE, AESPA, LESSERAFIM, and NEWJEANS can do a "world tour" no matter how small it is.

just wanna give an information. The choreography isn't visible in the 'Liar Liar' music video, but it actually has a separate-challange choreography video with distinctive footwear rollerskates-like and rapidly changing formations, they perform it in music show too

i've been a fan of OMG since Cupid, which was obviously a super cute debut. and then Liar Liar? is literally one of the best kpop MVs i've ever seen, to this day. Windy Day sort of solidified their image (imo) as like. slightly weird forest faeries. and some fans want to erase A-ing from their history but personally i love it. it's technically a cover but i feel like OMG really made it their own. i'm seriously loving watching y'all speedrun through their whole epic history! i'm having SO many memories ;w; thank you so much!~

windy day is a one of a kind. aing is a remake song. for vocals, I always felt yooa have a very distinct voice. I can recognize her voice easily in the song. I really like yubin tone. especially her lower tone.
