Rescene is constantly impressing me. The music & creative direction, aswell as the promotion is top notch. You can tell their company The Muze really puts a lot of thought & work into this group & the members are super talented too. I'm so glad more and more people are listening to their music, theyre well on their way to become Kpoptwt's favorite small group rn too which can be good for a while & they just recently made an entry on a Spotify chart.

RESCENE gives me 3rd Gen, 4th Gen and early 5th Gen vibes. They have like a hybrid sound. Put the sounds, moves and MVs of all the top girl groups from every Gen and you got RESCENE. I’m extremely impressed by them and this is coming from a MEGA-DIEHARD ONCE 🍭 These girls are going to be BIG!! I was even lucky enough to purchase an autographed debut album signed by each member and I can’t wait until it gets here from Korea!!

Love Madein to bits; I was a LimeLight fan from predebut (thanks to Rolling Quartz' Jayoung, who was main vocal Suhye's coach, and promoted them when they dropped their first EP), and I think we all knew that Yeshiro would eventually join up, we just didn't know exactly what form that would take. So, I dunno how well you know the backstory (I think you only recognised Yeshiro, so I'm guessing not very), but LimeLight were a 3-piece group launched last February (though they also had a predebut EP in Sept '22), consisting of *MiU, Suhye* and *Gaeun.* MiU was part of GP999 along with *Mashiro* and *Yeseo,* but of course they wound up in the winning lineup and stayed in Kep1er for about 2 1/2 years. In the meantime, they also sourced *Serina* and *Nagomi* from Produce 101 Japan. While not _the same._ I think Madein's sound actually follows on pretty well from LimeLight's, so if you're not familiar, I definitely recommend checking out their previous stuff. 3:00 They've actually also been doing shorts that include them counting in Chinese, Thai and Indonesian... 4:20 That's Nagomi, their new maknae. 5:10 He was there behind the camera; we were just busy looking at Yeshiro. 😜 5:35 Yeah, really quickly Digital Masta held his hands up, claimed all responsibility, and said he'd see about getting a re-edited MV up ASAP. Six days later, we got this. If you like this song, you should definitely check out the other three tracks. As it happens, Uno was originally supposed to be a B-side, but Shiro, MiU, Suhye and Gaeun all suggested to the boss that it should be the title track.

Obviously it doesn't come up often, but if you look up Jayoung's appearance on King of Masked Singer at Christmas (there's a playlist of clips here on KZbin, and it's not much of a spoiler; it's obviously her the second she makes a sound 😜), Suhye and MiU are in the panel. At one point after revealing herself, Jayoung tells Suhye, "I would have been sad if you didn't recognise me, but you did!" I often also see them liking each other's posts on Instagram...

Also the girl in Madein that Kess said looked really familiar is Abe Nagomi, she was on Produce 101 Japan (great show, one of the best survival shows I've watched). She went viral before for looking supeeerr similar to to Loona's Haseul & Yeojin (also bc she had great stage presence), that's where that familiarity might come from. They really look alike it's insane, even I was confused for a second.

I have not been able to shut up about Rescene ever since they dropped YoYo. They have some of the best songs in the game and so far there hasn't been a single bad one. Their sound is dreamy and captures everything I like about Red Velvet B-sides plus a little bit of their own 5th gen special sauce thrown into the mix. If they can continue to grow their audience and get more eyes and ears on them, they could dominate.
