She thought surely it cannot be the same Eunbi who had sleepovers at my house when we were very young. But of course it was. A true twist of fate. One of the staff at Source Music remembered Eunha, when a trainee dropped out who had been earmarked for GFriend and they needed a new recruit urgently. He had rung her home after she absconded from training for a week and he was worried where she was. He told her that she was welcome to come back as he clearly rated her but Eunha thought all the other trainees were prettier than her, sang better than her and danced much better too. So she went back to school instead and gave up on her dreams of being a singer. Until that phone call years later when she was offered a chance to debut as GFriend.

"Love Whisper" is like the prequel to "Fingetip". The lake that Gfriend is dancing on in Love Whisper is actually the source that granted them superpower, then Fingertip was like the civil war between the members after some drama conflict happened in between. The rest of the MVs later on that you ladies going to react will get even more confusing because it will be related to Gfriend's multiverse with different style and different concept. You're right about Eunha is the main character that because she seem to have the most powerful superpower out of six of them, she is able to manipulate time by using her butterfly. She travel back and forth to different timeline trying to saved her friendship with the members and hope to prevent civil war like Fingertip to happen The first three MVs you reacted in part 1, it was about the School Trilogy saga and they were normal humans at that era but Love Whisper was the origin of their supernatural lore

In one of their fanmeet, Sinb and Umji was gifted a liter of beer. And the 'aw' at the beginning is Umji. This MV is also where the fantasy of Gfriend world started.

Eunha wasn't even from SouMu. She's a LOEN trainee that dropped out and was contacted by SouMu's contents planning manager (who also used to work for LOEN ent) as they kept losing several trainees from the original 7-member debut lineup and had to add at least 1 more member to make it 6. SO, I really don't know if you guys will see this BUT: Gfriend actually has a whole universe! It's not a fan theory, it is definitely not made up, they even made three books about it. To summarize: Eunha, yes, she is the main character""" of this universe, she was born and raised in this little town/village where she met the other five girls. They're basically childhood friends, but its demostrated through their MVs that she's closer to Yerin and Sinb and they have this confirmed, very dense, love triangle. They all grow up and when they reach a certain age, they get these powers that the Great Lake in their village grants them. Since Sowon its the eldest, she receives it first, then Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, Sinb and lastly, Umji. They finish school and when they start to show their powers and gifts to each other, the story is no longer light-hearted. Envy grows and they start fighting, wanting the others power and, "FINGERTIP" is a sole representation of what the girls actually did to each other in the real world, ex: Yuju was probably taken over by another evil personality of hers, Sinb and Eunha could be in each other's bodies, Umji was trying to collect something from her friends, they all had different complots going on at the same time, and the darkest of them all, Sinb killed/did something reallyyyy bad to Yerin and Eunha saw it all, or got affected by it too. THIS IS GETTING REALLY LONG. Basically, Eunha is really sad about the fights and the friend group splitting off after so many years together, so she wanders off and meets this librarian that gives her a box filled with four blue butterflies, telling her that she can use them to go back in time to prevent the girls from messing up so badly. IMPORTANT: He also tells her that, if she uses all the butterflies but history doesn't change, their pure/transparent glass beads will turn darker and darker, till they're completely dark and they will become evil or WITCHES (which shows in their MV "Apple") Basically, Eunha failed. She also discovers later that all the girls also went to the same librarian and got the same box, and they all failed too. That's everything you basically need to know about it. Also, some fan theories that are really important. "SOWON IS EVIL": It is hinted at some GFriend MVs that Sowon has this dark side. When they all become witches in the Apple MV; Sowon sits right in the middle and her look at the camera signals she's responsible for this. This fan theory says that, since they all got a box, while Eunha used hers for good, to try to fix everything that went wrong; Sowon might use hers for evil, to make her friends mess up everytime so her powers become stronger when they all turn into witches. THE SIREN: It is also hinted that there's a "Siren" in the friend group; someone who is a whisperer, a wolf in sheep's clothing. It's always been a secret but, in the Song of The Sirens photoshoot, there's this picture of Yerin with "Siren" written on her arm while she covers her mouth with it. Crazy. So yeah, enjoy. And welcome to Gfriend's crazy and very well built universe!

The whole journey is all about their friendship from how they're happy friend turn to bad thing in their relay 😢 they missing each other. Their storyline goes from happiness into darkness. Most mind blowing lore I could ever said in Kpop. They're related with Blue Butterfly, it resemble (Butterfly Effect) for time travel. I really love your videos especially the gfriend MVs reaction. If you noticed, the melody at the end of love whisper is the melody of the next song you reacted to which is summer rain. For additional information, the story starts from fingertip until a song called sunrise. The blue butterfly has to do with it. The next era of Gfriend which is Fever, Crossroad, Apple and Mago is when they were under hybe management. The style is slightly different but still has gfriend' s taste and the story actually continues. The blue butterfly finally returns in this comeback (season of memories) after 4 years of parting, clueing that their journey will once again begin. ❤

fingertip was ahead of it's time and i can vaguely remember when it first came out purists especially k-buddys didn't really like it for the un-gfriend like sound and concept but for me this song hit so hard it's literally fire!🔥🔥🔥 as time goes by this song have proven itself to be one of their most beloved song and secured itself as one of the gfriend essential song that documents and define yeojachingu's musical journey as a group. it's a testament of how good fingertip really is!❤️❤️❤️ edit: without the release of fingertip, we wouldn't be able to instantly recognize season of memories as one of gfriend's signature song! that's how pivotal and important fingertip has on gfriend's overall sound!

Every GFriend choreography is amazing and worth an entire reaction video for each one. They create beautiful patterns with perfect timing and synchronisation and are so enjoyable and satisfying to watch. Fun fact about Love Whisper & Summer Rain: these two songs are the same genre (New Jack Swing) & have the same chord progression, but Love Whisper is in major key and Summer Rain is in minor key, hence the different atmosphere. And also, the piano melody you heard in the intro & chorus of Summer Rain is actually a sampling of Schumann's famous song cycle "A Poet's love" （specifically the first piece, "In Beautiful May"). So GFRIEND is well ahead of the classical music sampling game in Kpop 😆

I can't wait for you guys to react to my favorite song of theirs, APPLE. They are very diverse in their vocals, they all have very good vocals, but unfortunately they don't use them much. They only used Yerin's voice more, for example, when Yuju "left" the group, because she got her high note in Time for the Moonnight, she really has one of the best vocals in the group. Another one is Umji, her vocals are also very good, but unfortunately she isn't used much either, but when it was only Eunha, Sinb and Umji (who now form Viviz) left, Umji got Yuju's high notes in the song, showing that they really didn't show her vocals at all. But in my opinion, one of their best eras was Apple, because they give high marks to Yuju, Eunha and Umji, together with a more mature and witchy concept, but one bad point of all this is that they don't have rap in their songs, and if they did, Sowon, Umji and Sinb would be in that position because they both rap very well. In the case of Sinb and Umji, we can see their rap in some of Viviz's songs and they are really good (Umji is the Main Rapper in Viviz and lead in GFRIEND, in GFRIEND Sowon would be the main rapper). Another thing, but also very sad, was that right at the beginning of the group, Umji was already considered the ugliest Idol in the world, just because she didn't fit the Korean standard, when she was younger, she was chubby, chubby cheeks (very cute) but for Koreans she was ugly, because she didn't fit their ridiculous standard 😢

"Fingertip" is the song that made me into Gfriend because of how groovy and funky it sounds like and what got me more is how insanely good they are in synchronization. I love the school trilogy choreo and tftmn also sunrise. Those songs are bop! GFriend has a very deep meaning to their MVs. I remembered before that when other fandoms were so busy fighting each other there is buddys busy making a whole *ss thread about GFriendverse theory😂😂 I also remembered that I joined a gdm before that every Friday we set time and just us having a good conversation about the GFriend theory and it's mind blowing because every we have different speculations about what really happened to GFriend in the concept and story that they made. The tale of the glassbead is the title of GFriend's whole concept. Thank you for reacting to GFriend. It feels really nostalgic. I'm emotional right now. After they disband I can't even listen to their songs anymore coz it makes my heartache. That's why I'm happy that I was able to hear it after so many years with you. Queen of choreographies, queens of synchronization, love whisper, one of the hardest choreos in 3rd gen, you just saw all the foot work, many junior girl groups covered gfriend songs in survivals shows and similars (afaik in produce 48 love whisper was avoided by some teams cause it's too difficult to cover). So nice you reacted to love whisper and summer rain together, the end melody of love whisper is the sound of summer rain (a lil spoiler between mv's). It's really nice and interesting that you met VIVIZ Umji, and now you meet baby Gfriend Umji, maknae of the team. The Dreamcatcher reference, there was a time i remember where fans of DC and GFriend named both groups as the light/dark version of the other, I mean DC being "dark gfriend" and Gfriend being "Light Dreamcatcher" in terms of music, choreo and the rock sound tht GFriend always incorporates in their titles. Last but not least, Fingertip... how to explain it, gfriend was ahead of their time with that bop, i got shocked too the first time (2017?) but goshhh that is a bop, if you react to the live stages or dance practices....
