Our boys just proving it doesn't matter how much time passes, they get together and MAGIC happens. EXO's discography just can't be beat for my ears (Red Velvet's also brilliant). Their ballads are absolutely top tier and their vocals here are no exception, but I was also super impressed with the rap line on this track and this is just the start! Interesting thing to note about the Exo lore and their powers, ex member Tao's power is time control which I believe Baekhyun uses in this MV and also ex member Luhan's power was telekinesis which I believe Chanyeol demonstrates also in this MV. So there appears to be some power absorbtion going on.

Exo definitely has a storyline! Unfortunately for me I've been too busy relistening to the song and watching reaction videos for Let me in that I haven't gotten around to those theory posts bc the story line always goes over my head until the more clever Exo-L figures it out. I'm glad you guys really seemed to appreciate their vocals. It'd be unfair of me to say they have the best vocals in kpop bc ngl I get a little annoyed when I see other fandoms make that claim so I'll refrain but I will say this amazing group has *my* favorite vocals in kpop and I'm glad this song really showcased that talent. been reading some theories online. during their Elyxion concert their vcr shows that all of them got separated & that they were trying to find each other. in this mv, some of them found each other & they're probably trying to prevent the "apocalypse" but they're not sure how. i'm feeling Dr. Strange vibes here too. & if you notice that rock in the beginning, it was shown on the last part of Kai's Mmmh video & part of the teaser for Obsession where they have alter egos, X-EXO. the last part of Obsession was the world on fire. maybe they were figuring out how to fight that from happening. hope this sort of helps.

Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently".
