Inspired by the book, Growing Up with the River, Nine Generations on the Missouri, the film visits historical sites, the people and the beauty of the Missouri River Valley.

Ive lived in PITTSBURGH for 56 years. I was born in BRADDOCK IN 1968. THIS IS BY FAR , THE GREATEST DOCUMENTARY ABOUT PITTSBURGHS HISTORY IVE EVER SEEN. GREAT JOB. IM EVEN MORE PROUD TO BE FROM HERE. PEACE

What a spectacular production, well done, Kara Vaninger. More people need to find these videos and support channel 9. Channel 9 is a treasure and St. Louis is lucky to have this gem.

Washington, except for the Corn Cob Pipe Factory, was completely ignored. I'm impressed, considering it predates New Haven, Augusta, and Hermann, and has 445 buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.

Did you follow Highway 50 on the southside to Jeff city? that is the rout that i use toget to the Ozarks and my Territory For Fireplace Service and installation, Chimney installation.
