Seems like Cyborg struggles in the same places as Canary. Quite fast normals but doesn't have much range. Can be zoned out easily. What makes Cyborg slightly better than Canary is the fact Cyborg has some sort of full screen presence which Canary does not without lvl3 scream. Both have good mix as well but kinda hard to get it started at times. This is just my opinion though

Bradley Francis I agree with you but don't you think Canary has the best neutral in the game with her level 3 scream? cuz once she hits you with that from anywhere at the screen, you're eating a full combo

Patrick Imperial Yes but if any projectile interrupts it you lose level 3 and are still left full screen until it is built back up. This makes fighting characters like Atrocitus, Deadshot, Black Adam, Aquaman and even Harley quite difficult

I actually loving watching cyborg.... Ryan did you see F3 Sleep at CB ? I do think he needs buffs tho. Just his normals imo. I new far reaching mid would be fit. Cyborg can literally make his arms massive, yet he has no range lol

I never had the chance to catch him live! I was chatting and watching Alucard using Cyborg in casuals though. We both seemed to agree he had the same weaknesses. He needs to to flush out I think and some matchups will require a counterpick.

Cyborg's F2,2 is a relatively far reaching mid and +2 on block, but the start up is a little slow. If he is gonna use it to poke the should shave a couple frames off the start up then he'll be fine. I also wish they would make his command grab a true grab, it whiffs on duck which really sucks especially considering that is his only real wake up attack.

Gibster FGC f22 is pretty good after the mb uppercut cause it properly spaces you for a drone or a homing missile setup, or both??? i think ive seen (I main cyborg, but dont play the game too often)

Cyborg/Grid doesn't seem that great. As Green Lantern I can go toe to toe with his zoning and have better footsies than him. Some buffs I think he should get are those to his normal, make his lock on missiles overhead, make his command grab a mid, and have the ex cyber uppercut (db1 I think) come out on block

I'm trying to main cyborg but I find that his main tool (zoning) isn't very viable against a lot of characters and also it's super hard to open people up. Because of his lack of over heads. I feel that he needs a buff in either his ground missile or his low trait (roomba) a low attack. So he has a better corner game and can open people a bit easier.

I don't play Cyborg, but he seems very similar to Blue Beetle. Similar projectiles, stubby normals, with BB having a bit more mobility in air.

the superman jumped Every time. I would have done air to air shot where You jump and shoot before he did (not the angled or meterburned version). You did it a few times and it worked, but then you stuck to the grounded shots afterwards and that's where it got dicey. You had that match 😁

MehGamer the reason is if it is full screen the angled nb does not reach the opponent and its a waste of pressure. Supes zoning is stronger and he can dash in the air ex lazer is crushing.

Ethan Tooley I meant the air to air version. Ketchup preemptively stopped the supermans jumps right after wake up a few times and it worked. Its harder to do when you are in disadvantage state where you get knocked down instead (because superman can do it right back to you). Im purely speaking when cyborg gets the hard knockdown . That time wasn't a match up specific thing. I think he was constantly jumping to get around the projectile.

113 DB2 MB won't combo into f2 midscreen because the 3 input causes tan initial juggle. You can only combo off it midscreen if they're grounded when the DB2 hits. I believe you can do a late MB off the db2 into another instant db2 though because of the range/speed. In the corner you can hit a D1 though I'm pretty sure.

ok Ty man i think on the corner u can hit 3 DB2 after 113 Db2MB but thats all or D2 into special but more i play cyborg and more i found him really weak in a lot a spot ... no really good setup i think or nobody already find it except the corner hook . And a lot of his strings are pretty weird like his 112 : +6 on block and I have NEVER manage to guarantee anything with it online ,not even a D1 ........and i found his wake up weaker than a big part of the cast!!

His ranged game is very strong, he just takes a lot of time to figure out. Check out Balding's Cyborg for example and he makes it work pretty damn well. I'm not sold he's a character that can win by himself though. You may need a secondary for his bad matchups.

AlexanderATX no push block is when they are hiting you when you are blocking correctly but want them to get off of you .Similar to mkx breaker/block breaker. You press RT and towards the opponent and it should remove their trait as well and put distance between each other.
