Hi Martha, glad you like the unity XL I think its great bit of kit, did you know they now do one with a wash basin included, just wish I had the room for one. Many thanks for your comment I really do like to receive them.

Hi Willy, thanks for your review. I'm looking for something twice as long so considering buying two of these and butting them up against each other. From what you've seen, could this be assembled without the end shelf and rail so that they can sit flush side by side? Best regards, Mark.

Hi Mark, from what I can remember, its been a long time since I assembled it, the tray at the one end is just clipped in place, the bar for the tools may may have a bolt as this is used when moving it on its wheels. My son has just purchased the double one which has a wash basin in one of the worktops. Having had a good look, it is two bases bolted together which are the same as mine, the differences being, no condiment tray, and no wheels. Can I put an electric grill on the stainless steel and cook on this table?

Hi Debra, many thanks for your comment, it depends how hot the feet of the grill get which are in contact with the stainless steel work top. I did put a hot pan on the work top which left a circular mark that took ages and a lot of work to remove, I now use a trivet.

If it rains, will it rust?

Hi Rene, majority of the Unity XL is a plastic material, only the work surface is stainless steel which should not rust, the only other metal part is the tool hanger bar, I'm not sure what metal its made from however it does have a shiny finish so I guess its protected. I've not yet owned my Unity XL long enough to encounter much wear and tear, during the summer months it lives outside with a cover over it, and in the winter its stored in the garage.
