For everyone asking. I used a mixture of Olive oil and Bacon Fat to Deep Fry. I keep collecting bacon and pork fat when I cook and use it when I need. I also have some beef fat. However you can cook this in coconut oil or just olive oil or even Ghee if you like.

I made this last night using 75% crushed pork rinds and 25% psyllium husk. Boy did it turn out DEEEELICIOUS! I had more chicken and needed to fry in four batches. By the fourth batch my oil was foaming so badly that I had to constantly stir and cool it to keep it from overflowing. I believe that is caused by the psyllium husk. Anyway, another WINNER!!!

Hey, Sahil! Just wanted to check on this real quick. How do we calculate fat macros when we are deep frying food in Oil? Because there wouldn't be an exact amount of oil we use right? It's a lot of oil and we just deep fry and keep the oil aside. Hope you understood what I meant here.
@HKKetoRecipes6 жыл бұрын
hey man so if you are a bit neurotic you can weight the oil before and after frying. I generally estimate 1 tablespoon for my macro calculation. Yes after you fry set the oil aside and use it for your other cooking. I generally use it to fry my eggs every morning. Little by little i use it up.
@wyvern93_776 жыл бұрын

Hi Sahil! I tried so many of your recipes. TY!!! I have 2 questions with Chicken 65. I bought yellow mustard seeds. Is that ok? I didn't realize there are two kinds. I watched your video again and saw u used the black one. Should I wait to make the recipe when I get them?? Also, I couldn't find curry leaves...anywhere!! Is it super necessary for it to taste good. Do u have a substitute for it? Thanks...😁
@HKKetoRecipes6 жыл бұрын
Well the curry leaves do kind of 'make' the dish, however if you make it without them and use the yellow mustard seeds you'll definitely get a different tasting dish. I'm actually not sure how it will taste since I've never made it without the ingredients. But make a small batch and see how it tastes :)
