The diet that I come across has a lot of bacon in it. That is not good. Pork product is on a long list of unclean meats. Another thing that some doctors push is krill oil. All oceanic bottom feeders are unclean. Remember it has to have scale and fins

It is totally worth it. I did it for 3 months just to cut balance out my sugar levels and it felt amazing. The best part is there were no more brain fogging. Everything felt so clear. Hard to explain. A year has passed simce i did keto diet and my weight is still maintained 😊

It only happens because you cut the whole carbs . but if you only add more vegetables and protien and then eat the carbs part it works the same . But it a marketing gimiks Just to promote keto , it can be very dangerous in long term , keto is not for everyone it should followed by everyone.

I lost 30lbs in 3 months on keto last year and I kept the weight off. I started again this April 1st and I’ve lost 8lbs in one month. Looking to lose 20lbs more in next 2 to 3 months. I cut off carbs and my fat intake isn’t too high. I do intermittent fasting together with keto. Sometimes I do one meal a day. My fat is from avocados, almonds, olive oil and whatever fat comes with my meat. People always assume you have to eat a bunch of fat to be on keto but not necessarily true. I do miss my carbs though but I’ll return to eating regular once I lose the extra pounds

The keto diet is not really that restrictive, you can make your own bread and crackers, I make my own muffins I eat berries I eat salads and plenty of vegetables as well as meat a few eggs fish and seafood. It's not bad at all and pretty easy to stick to❤

Im a hairstylist, stylists are always going on diets of the moment, and a few years ago, almost every one of my coworkers was on this diet. Many of them swore by it, and said they felt more energetic and clear. Personally, i believe in eating a wide range of real foods. I don't see how putting our bodies into state of ketosis could be healthy. Its not balanced. I remember the Atkins diet from the early 00s, and everyone i knew who lost weight on it, gained everything back and then some more once they stopped!! I think we should just eat real food (less processed, or none) and exercise! ❤

I’ve been in ketosis and felt amazing. It is difficult to get all the fats. Even with macadamias. I get pleasure from timed fasting of no breakfast and no snacking. No wheat or American dairy. No processed foods ✌️

Its perfectly safe to add butter to your foods on keto diet to get enough fat. Saturated fat/ LDL cholesterol is only dangerous when you are insulin resistant. When cells dont respond to insulin properly, it somehow oxidizes LDL which puts a lot of stress on your arteries. They say LDL is the bad cholesterol (a very important and required cholesterol) but always fail to mention why. But try to eat more omega 3 fats because they still offer more benefit.

It's a way of eating...weight loss is a side effect, but all blood markers and general health will improve !!! Saturated fats are not the problem, cut seed/ Veg oils.

It works by lowering insulin and resetting the body’s insulin sensitivity, which when out of balance is at the root of several ailments. As such, it needs to be viewed as a therapeutic tool rather than a lifelong diet.

Respected ma'am , it's a very good and balanced explanation. Keto diet is a short term diet , max 100 days , it's not for lifetime otherwise it'll more harm than good in my view. Also for keto diet one need to be very cautious of choosing fats , if unhealthy fats are used it can be very harmful. The best diet is balanced diet. Have everything in moderation and balance and adjust according the needs of an individual.

@@regan295 Yeah, cause humans were automatically great hunters lol. We were getting hunted and picked off easily back then too. Not saying they didn’t eat meat but logically thinking they ate what was easy to find at first. Like nuts, seeds and fruit. The first people weren’t necessarily cavemen either. In Africa people have been eating startchy root vegetables since the beginning as they still do today. Also it’s greatly over exaggerated the amount of meat early humans ate. For one hunting was hard for probably centuries until they learned how to do so efficiently. Second is there was no preservation and in a climate like Africa meat isn’t lasting more than 48 hrs if that. The human diet is highly adaptable but we aren’t carnivores in any sense. We need plant food in our diets as well

When the body is out of balance, we take certain herbs, medicines etc. in the short term to restore the body’s health. Same is true for the ketogenic diet. It is meant to reverse diseased metabolic pathways and restore the body to its optimum functioning levels. We don’t expect to take the herbs, medicines etc. for life, but for a specific duration only. Same is true for the ketogenic diet. It should be pursued only for as long as necessary, not for a lifetime. ❤❤

since i was 10 years old I have a bigger appetite than my friends. I always carry an extra 20 pounds even when I am jogging three times a week. But keto worked and I lost all the weight and my appetite became so small. But, keto is very difficult to stick to. But, primates are keto and vegetarians, except for eating insects and they do not have body fat. We are primates too.

On keto you have to watch your electrolytes, potassium, magnesium. It’s unclear if keto is messing with thyroid hormones. If u do it, get informed and do it carefully.

Saturated fats were falsely linked to heart disease and that myth has already been exposed. So there is no need to fear ghee or butter in adequate doses. Infact ghee is one of the healthiest superfoods for the heart ❤❤

I'm doing a 1-meal a day keto eating about 200 grams of meat every day. (fish, red meat, chicken). Do I have to eat meat every single day to stay in ketosis? Thinking in terms of "too much of anything is poison", can I have just eggs instead of meat, or better yet, have a day without any protein? Thanks.

Hello everyone,So I have a PhD and Masters in human biology and chemistry from UCL(London UK) The lady in the video is right about most things but not about nutrition.Ketogenic diet is far more superior than any plant based diet period. In our lab we have confirmed huge amounts of BI2,Vitamin C, CQ10 and most modern identified vitamins and minerals in animal organ meats. So if you want to be super strong and healthy you must include animal organ meats but they must be grass fed, not grain fed. The difference of eating this way is astounding!and I mean Astounding.Try it for one month on Keto but include organ meats, heart,liver,kidneys. You can come back and thank me when everything in your body will be running at peak power!

It is clearly known that carbohydrates are processed by the body in the same way as sugar. Sugar causes all the degenerative diseases we know today, like chronic inflammation, insulin resistance, diabetes, Alzheimer, and also cancer !! So I don't know if it's the solution but what I know is that cravings for a while .. are not all that matters when it comes to your life ❤ I have seen small kids 1 year old, never tasted honey or juice. They were disgusted by the sweetness. Like for coffee, sugar, alcohol, cigarettes.. we should follow kids they know better. When you try the drug you don't like the taste you like the way it makes you feel in the short term. When we first tried these drugs we didn't like them but now? Sugar seems amazing!! And coffee ? Oh now I love coffee!! Nope you're an addict 😂

Diabetics must never ever do keto diet. Diabetics will die. From Ketosis coma. Diabetics 1/2 spiln cant break down sugar. And will die. Within a day. Please check with your hospital practitioner.

Wrong info. I know many people who have been doing keto for more than 10 years, and they stopped all medicines and are very healthy. Those who continue with Allopathic medicines are extremely sick and look so weak. Some who consumed insulin for years even lost their leg due to infection and eventually died of extreme pain and suffering. You can never show one person who got cured with Allopathic treatment.
