I love these. I have made them several times. Last time I made them I added a little lemon extract which worked very well. I have also used a little almond extract which was yummy, reminded me of an almond poppy seed muffin. This is an easy, no fail recipe.

🌺🌸Hi @@HeavenlyFan! Because of my health, my nutricionist told me to avoid anti nutrientes, to don't cause further inflammations, in this case soaking chia for 12 hours with a little lime and water (only enough to coach the seeds). 💗🥰 So i was wondering... do you think that grinding and soaking the chia seeds first, alter the recipe outcome? ...Maybe not adding those teaspoons of water to the recipe?

I've been looking forward to try these. Since I've pretty much finished all my sweet bake stock (😄), decided to bake these scones. Used to bake regular scones every morning then gluten issue hit me. Regular (?) gluten free recipes were not quite my taste but having tried several of your recipes, I had a high hope, so trippled the ingredients to bake a bigger batch! Following the previous success with the brownies, I've used 2/3 okara plus 1/3 almond flour ratio - the rest I followed as listed (x3). I don't have enough egg rings so used muffin tin so I've got 12 cute mini scones. Took a little longer - the dought might have been a little wetter but no major issue. I mixed in desiccated coconuts and goji berries... just got them out of the oven, had to taste of course (though it's a little late eating. 😅 Very fluffy and soft with subtle sweetness, love them! I will give it a special nutella treatment tomorrow for even more gorgeousness...am glad I've made a large batch to keep me going for a few days... 😍I'm begining to get grips with working with these alternative flours and other ingredients and the results are becoming consistently good. It's so good to be able to enjoy these treats without having to worry about sugar and any discomfort. I've pretty much stopped buying any sweets and pre-maid bakes from shops the past month. Thank you Fan. 💓🙏

I'm not sure if you're aware that the sweetener you're using is mostly erythritol and not stevia? I only mention it as some people have digestive issues with erythritol but may buy this thinking it is just stevia (as I did). It gives me a bubbly tummy, although I like the taste of it. Also, it's granulated like sugar rather than a powder. Just thought I'd mention that, not a criticism at all. Nice recipe as usual 😊
