It is saving my life. Some of us just have to hit our absolute rock bottom and no amount of someone trying to help us, helps. 😞

Did cutting out (keto approved) vegetables make a difference for you? Or were you eating a bunch of "keto treats", or? I'm 60...and am thinking that keto and carnivore would be pretty much the same for me...as I don't think that I have any particular problem with greens and such. But due to the unfortunate confluence of becoming a couch potato, eating a lot of potato chips and peanuts, and drinking a lot of wine, and turning late 50's/60...I morphed from a hardbody gym-rat into the Pillsbury doughgirl. It's sad and scary...I need to get in shape!

@@vanillaghetto No, I didn't do keto treats. I've always eaten a lot of vegetables and cutting them out, along with the flax, berries and occasional nuts, has made a huge difference. But mostly, the difference has been going high (clean) fat. Now I eat a lot of beef, butter, and tallow. No chicken, which I ate a lot of on keto. 75% fat, 25% protein at my macro needs, is healing my hormones, which is everything. Hormonal health is what makes carnivore requirements for women, much different than men. BBBE is the way to start, IMO. FYI: potatoes are extremely high in oxalates- dump the chips 😘

Hi I’m 73 and I have tried every diet under the sun. I’m so frustrated that I’m to the point of wondering how I should eat. I have so many things that are wrong with me. My son knows what I’m dealing with and so he suggested that I go on the Carnivore diet. So I looked at all of the Utube information from Ken Berry, and Dr Chaffee and of you too. I listened to you and decided to start this diet. So I started August 1. I’ve been on this now for a month. I’m eating so strictly- meat, eggs, water, and bacon rinds. I feel fantastic and love that I don’t have any desire to eat bad stuff. I have fibromyalgia and MS and other things that I am living with. I just ordered LMNT Electrolytes. Thank you for all of your talks. I love listening to you. Specially helping that fellow in Alaska. Right on.

Bull headed is SO appropriate. Addictions are easy to see in others but very hard to see in ourselves. The “so many, too many choices” in our society has everyone brainwashed, conditioned, addicted. Addiction is the corporate agenda, and that influence abounds. For the viewer, It’s actually eye opening to see the drastic differences in you two’s health. Her continued pain and conditions, unfortunately, will only serve to uphold and drive home your message. Onscreen documented juxtaposition. Continue being the example and focus on others (like Alaskan Bill) that see what you see. People only change from the inside out, when they’re ready. Addicted people would rather hold on to their suffering than change because it’s familiar.

I'm posting this on all my carnivore channels. I am a 61 yr old female, four months in, and loving it! When Dr. Chaffey says that "plants are trying to kill you", he isn't kidding. I just watched a video from "Sadhguru" and he said, "If a group of elephants come and start grazing on a particular species of trees, within 20 minutes, all the other trees (leaves) in that region belonging to that same species turn bitter and mildly poisonous. The plants are communicating, "We're being eaten up". The elephants know about it, so they will graze quickly in one place and not even bother to graze in the area, because they know they will turn bitter. So they travel further away and again start eating. SO FASCINATING!

It is so evident that you love her and care and your motivations for suggesting the carnivore diet for her is because you love her - you want her healthy, well and at her best. I think you have a beautiful heart and are full of love. I look at the way you befriended and encouraged Bill and his life is forever changed. You've already touched so many lives in such a short time. There will always be people looking for negativity where it doesn't exist. Human nature projects negativity on others but you two are strong and will learn to brush these insults off. Truly the bad comments and negativity sound like they are coming from bullies perhaps projecting their own ways onto you. I'm so proud that Jen has come out of veganism due to your influence. That's a big victory. Stay the course! It's just a matter of time before she goes full carnivore. My husband is on the SAD diet and it's killing me. He is eating more meat but missing the point that Carnivore is about eliminating bad foods as well. I have to really resist not being pushy because I want him to overcome his anxiety and other health issues. It's soooo hard to see this up close and personal when we know how much carnivore has changed our lives for the better. You've got this and may God continue to bless your family.

As someone who did the Keto diet over and over to only fail and gain weight again, I understand where you are coming from. I would still crave carbs on the Keto diet. I'm 9 days in on the Carnivore diet and not ONCE have I craved carbs. I cut cheese out after the first 3 days realizing that it was causing me problems. Then I had to cut out a multivitamin that had probiotics in it as it was contributing bad bacteria in to my digestive track. Now I just eat meat, butter, and eggs. Mostly red meat, but bacon helps when I get low on electrolytes. I cannot believe all the COWARDS attacking you for encouraging your wife to get healthy like you. She's trying to make herself healthy with the Keto, but we know it is only a matter of time before she fails again. Here's my suggestion, start her with crispy bacon that she can crumble onto her salads. This is the gateway meat to Carnivore from Keto. Next you can do fillets wrapped in bacon. Inch by inch, you can move her over. Another good one is shrimp cooked in butter, because butter is king when it comes to flavor! Good luck, and if your wife is reading this, be brave and start small!

I haven't lost weight either, but I keep cheating with chocolate and sometimes ice cream. It only takes a little cheating to stop all progress. Also, I suddenly realized I need to eat more. I added up my calories and they only came to 1000 or so calories. Meat is so satiating that I wasn't aware that it wasn't enough. I am aiming now for at least 1500 or more. It feels better. I actually lost about 4 lbs or so the first week. Too little calories will mess with your metabolism. @@lauravictorious4670

Anybody who has watched the two of you interact and with half a brain can see that you and Jen are very comfortable with each other, know each other really well and love each other. People who love each other call each other out when they stray from their commitments, they are supporting each other! Your relationship is your business, not anyone else's business. Those who make negative comments have perfect relationships I guess! Family often will not listen to you but listen to someone else because they have no history with them. MY daughter calls me out when I eat something that is horrible for me, I get pissed, but I know she is right, and she has a a right to call me out because she is the one that will have to put up with me being super bitchy and impatient with her because I ate sh*t. I do the same for her. From the outside it looks like we are fighting, but we have made a commitment to have each other's back. It is frustrating, but very normal. Don't let negative comments from know-it-alls influence how your family lives and loves! And you don't have to explain or justify how the two of you do the two-of-you. You are being very transparent and brave putting very honest reactions on line...that is like facing the dragon or the lions. I suggest that if the first few words of a comment are negative, just don't read the rest. You owe them no explanations! This is your channel, you can also ban anyone who is arrogantly and self-righteously calling you names and bullying you and being rude and judgemental. @Meatmeontheotherside

Kerry I learnt the hard way. About 5 years ago I lost 33lbs in 3 months via keto (and kept it off) but I tried to help my coworkers and family and yet everyone thought they knew better even though I was the one who had the body transformation. They all argued that the body needs sugar, fruits and that fats were bad. That is when I was done. Since then I only told people I cut out sugar in my diet but nothing else. Only a few people including my girlfriend asked for genuine help and I was glad to send them a few resources but I didn’t lecture them because I realized they will only succeed when they themselves are fully committed. My GF and my friend who I sent them resources became experts more than I was and they were far more successful than I was. I now refer to them if I have questions. 😂 They have the same passion like you do and have educated themselves. It’s not that difficult and it all makes logical sense once you know what insulin and carbs do to your body. I now am trying carnivore and have lost 10lbs in one month. I try to be the example that this works. But I don’t try to bring people onboard who are not fully committed. It will only lead to disappointment.

I feel for your wife, I was raised on "fat is bad for you" "eating fat makes you fat". Plus, fat tastes nasty...in the beginning. It took me a year and a half on eating Keto before I started Carnivore in the form of BBB&E. I had been in a stall for a couple months and just joined a challenge. After two weeks I was off my blood pressure meds. I decided to go from 30 to 90 days. By the end I had lost 30 lbs and was feeling invincible. Although I had loose stools for the whole challenge, it was still worth it to me. With all that I still wasn't able to enjoy the high fat. I made myself eat it. Now over a year later I now enjoy the fat. As a side note: my mom cut out all fat, on the advice of her cardiologist, after she had a minor heart attack. She followed it to the letter. Within a few years she went from being an independent 75 year old widow who lived alone, travelled around the world on her own, moved from the East coast to Colorado on her own, who still whole-house cleaned twice a year, to a person who would forget where she was driving after a few minutes in the car. Who would clean up her lunch and a half an hour later would say, lets have lunch. Who would repeat conversations every two minutes and finally had to move in with my sister. She died at 83 not knowing who anyone was, totally dependent on my sister for all personal hygiene. We have all been lied to, yes get your wife eating fat.

He's snoring less, his scalp psoriasis is almost gone. His voice is getting deeper, he's happier, his resting heart rate has gone from 115-ish to low/mid 80's. My skin is the best it's ever looked, I've only had three periods so far and they last only 3 days. No PMS, regular flow, basicallyno cramping. It's wonderful! My "save" button ran out of room for all the reasons I saved this video, Kerry. You are such an inspiring, helpful, honest, and caring person. I keep thinking how much I would love to see Jenn interact - in person - with Dr. Berry, Dr. Chaffee, Dr. Kiltz, etc. I continue to share the truth about carnivore with almost everyone I know love and speak with and most, sadly, think I'm on a rant about some out-there 'diet'. I have one friend, a neighbor who has had immediate life-changing results in her rheumatoid arthritic body right off the bat and I am so, so, happy for her and wonder why others are so resistant. I'll keep my strong faith remarks to myself, lol, as that can be a trigger for many as well. So, a supporter here! I mentioned on Jen's last video that my sister-in-law discovered after switching to a vegetarian diet that red meat and pork actually had been making her sick. This is very rare but it is possible if someone has ever been bit by a Lone Star tick (evidence of non-travel related incidence in Wi), they can develop an allergy to beef and even pork. My sister-in-law lives in a rural area as well (PA) and has also been hit by Lyme. It could be that or something else making Jen sick when she eats beef/pork so maybe check with a good doctor to see if there is something there.

Yes! But when people get a stomachache after eating meat, especially fatty meat, it is usually because they are not making enough bile. Bile is necessary to digest meat. You can take supplements to help until your body makes more bile. I am not an expert, but I know this is true.

I started with Keto lost 82 lbs and naturally migrated to carnivore after 4 months as my cravings turned from sugary crap to fatty meats and bacon. If she is more comfortable with Keto....increase the fats..and she may migrate to carnivore on her own. People often stop Keto or carnivore and stop because they don't give it time to work. The more inflammation we have it takes the body longer to heal...we have to HEAL before we lose weight. We have been taught we lose the weight to be healthy and it simply is not true. Fat is BRAIN FOOD! It keeps you satiated longer. 🙏👍

Hi Kerry, I can relate. My partner suffers from inflammation bigtime. It's so hard to watch. He's watched my transformation and supports me. But I am convinced that some people are more comfortable suffering than feeling good. On some level, we as humans are programmed that way, and it's a real bitch to break that habit of always seeing the glass as half empty. Happiness and feeling great are out of many peoples' comfort zone believe it or not. Took me YEARS to reprogram my own "martyr" thinking. And there's NOTHING you can do but get OK with it within yourself. Much love from New Mexico USA!❤❤❤

I have been with my husband since I was 15 and he was 19. There is something in our relationship that many people don’t understand. I think it’s because our petty fighting can be very childlike at times, I kind of relate it to how my kids fight with each other. I think it’s because we grew up together, but the immaturity in our fighting stayed young. Even my children have a hard time with the way we fight, but it’s funny we don’t even notice it. My main objective is get the last 20 pounds of extra weight off, my insulin resistance improved, and get the inflammation out of my sinuses. (I’ve chronic sinusitis for 30 years.) Kerry, I totally know how you feel and that you are trying to help your wife, but I want to tell you that I am working on going carnivore. I have been trying to be carnivore since last May but keep craving chocolate, and I think I will have just a small bite, but it always throws me in a bad direction, maybe for days. I am going to keep trying till I get it, but I would like to tell you about my husband. We went on keto in 2017 together. I lost 65 pounds and he lost 50 within a month or so, but he weighed over 300 pounds at 5 ft 6. My husband got started doing extended fasting, and over and over he will fast for up to 28 days and then go right back to his SAD diet until he is back to over 300 lbs, which takes about the same amount of time it took to lose it. He has done this so many times, it is like a really bad eating disorder, up and down over and over. I try not to say anything because he never listens to me, but now and then I just have to TRY to say something that will come through to him. It never happens. He is NOT the captain of his own ship, for sure (though he thinks he is). I don't know if he ever will be. Until he decides to be a true captain, there is very little I can do. Just trying to share a little experience here. I know your wife is not the same as my husband, but it might be good to curb the enthusiasm a little. Only you know. You have almost lost 2 family members, and I understand your concern. Be a good example. That is the best. Live and learn.

I knew you all were joking around 😂 even from the thumbnail!! I've done keto on & off since 2018. It's definitely not sustainable long term, junk and cravings sneak back in eventually. The red meat is KING for sure!! I'm now carnivore/ketovore and starting to feel better, and my snoring is almost gone. Jen needs to start small with with the fatty red meat and build up every day. I definitely don't feel as good with just chicken alone. I'm trying to get off BP meds. I also have hashimotos and had a parathyroid tumor removed in 2021. Jen may have something like that going on, which makes it really hard to lose weight. The weight is not falling off of me like it is my hubby, but I have more to heal, so I know it will come off eventually. I figured out how to make butter mayo & then homemade ranch(that's my treat now), total game changer too. Thank you, Chris Cooking Nashville, for the butter mayo trick 😋. When people have a healthy love and appreciation for themselves, they generally don't knowingly do things to sabotage themselves because they stay focused on their goals, listen etc. Those who have an underlying hatred of themselves continue to self sabotage themselves. They are so focused on the hatred and self they don't realise they are being selfish and hurting their loved ones as well. Your wife knows seed oils and low fat causes inflammation. She is sabotaging herself. She needs to work on her mental health too to succeed and come to the place of loving and appreciating herself. I have been Carnivore since 2015 , eating lamb, chicken and steak. Plus water and salt. I wasn't thriving because because of self hatred and negative thoughts etc which kept me in the sympathetic nervous state. The body cannot heal in that state. I joined Re-Origin over 4 months ago and my mental health is really good now. I love and appreciate myself. I am now also eating egg yolk, sardines , cod liver oil. I am finally thriving on the Carnivore diet. Mental health is so important ❤

If you want to hear my advice and I tell this exactly because you care: Do leave her alone, but not in a mean way. Be kind an patient with her and respect her choice. The CD is not a religion, it is about food. And even if it was about religion, you can not force the truth on anybody. Stay true to yourself and while giving the good example STOP lecturing her. Be her husband and stop being her coach. She knows everything about the CD she needs to know so there must be something else which holds her back from changing. Maybe she needs a femal companion to find an approach from Keto to Carnivore that suits HER. Men and women are different and so are their hormones etc. So together with her try to find someone other than you who is agreable to her and can help her on her journey. Love and prayers!

Kerry and Jen Important Issue!!!Kerry, I love your enthusiasm! I’m so happy for your success. I’m 64 yoa and a RN and I’ve been carnivore for 8 months now and I have some major health gains and I will carnivore for life! Yet, I’m experiencing extreme major pelvic pain from oxalate dumping! I’ve only lost 15 pounds and need to lose 60 more but I’ve been gaining and losing the same 2 lbs for the last 3 months. I’ve been strict carnivore for the last month and I’m having terrible pelvic pain due to old surgical injury and I know it’s oxalate dumping! My point is each of us are individual and our results are different. Since Jen has been vegetarian for a long time explains why she would be having the symptoms she has with carnivore it’s oxalate dumping. It’s a real major thing!!! It can be so severe that we have to add foods back in that aren’t carnivore in order to stop the oxalate dumping symptoms. You guys need to watch Sally K Norton videos on KZbin and maybe Jen should consult with her. You need to interview Sally! For some people oxalate dumping doesn’t occur until years into carnivore for others like myself it happens early in the journey and it is a daily struggle. Please Watch Sally Norton Video, I believe she has one with Dr. Chaffee but there are many. I know oxalate issues is an area that gets brushed over by many carnivores, they think it just relates to kidney stones. No oxalate effects every organ in your body! I wish you continued success and pray you never experience a issue with oxalate but I suspect it is lurking for many. Also Jen can make homemade Ranch with healthy fat like sour cream or low carb keto mayonnaise. I use a dried herb blend I find at Target in the produce section plus onion and garlic powder.

Bro thanks for your videos, I started 3 weeks ago. Lost 1 Stone already. I'm on it for a year so let's see how I end up. If I achieve anything near what you have I'll be very happy. Keep posting bro

I don’t see anything wrong with the short video, but, what works for one person doesn’t necessarily work across the board. Each person has their unique tolerances for certain foods.

Kerry, Jordan and I laughed so hard at this video and could so relate. You can't MAKE those you love work on their optimum health, but it hurts when they don't. All you want is the best for them. Jen will get there. Her baby steps might seem miniscule now, but as long as she keeps going forward she will progress. Keep up the good work of loving hey and living free.

People that don't have a life for some strange reason feel compelled to try to manage others. All of us normal people know how much you love Jen. Like my mama always said....misery loves company.

People act like professional commentators sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong! Just keep gently coaxing your beloved…sometimes it just takes ‘Tough Love!’ ❤
