This launch pad is really excellent !! I own a Yamaha Genos, I did not know much Ketron brand and I realise this SD9 is fantastic !!! Sounds are so much realistic, drums and especially electric guitars distortion which sound like a real guitar, not like on the Genos despite the many amplifier effects, this is not as good as the SD9 is... Thank you very much for this video, and in English I do understand how it works since I'm French, many videos are in Italian or polish language ! I do love this keyboard !!! 😍

Hello Ajam,first of all i am a big fan of yours from România(Europe),second,i own an Sd90,unfortunattely because of the fact that the Sample function is not yet active,people don t buy it because of our folk music and this fact is so important for musicians from Serbia,Bulgaria,etc(eastern Europe).Please,please,please,can you do something about it,maybe if you ask Ketron Italy,they will grab the procedure of letting go SAMPLE FUNCTION!God Bless you!

Can we import a wav. percussion loop & guitar strumming loop into the style?

Yes. You can import up to 3 waves and use at a time. Now Since a style has Arranger A, B, C and D, this means you can import 3 X 4 = 12 waves - even though you can only play a MAX of 3 at any given time (using LaunchPad)....

You can do this in STYLE EDIT. View Edit is to edit existing parameters on the current style.

You need to install OS 1.1.0 to have the capability of selecting what to send to LaunchPad (new feature)...

Other Arrangers are about $5,200.00. It all depends on if you can afford what you like or the tools you need to make great music ... else, there are lower/entry level units like the SD7 or even the SD5 from KETRON which also do a great job for live performances.

The new Yamaha Genos also cost more than $5,000 and does not sound as good as Ketron, when it comes to the styles. Ketron is the best!
