I was there 84-87. In new addition there was a ROTC facility in the basement. I was in band and ROTC and performed on that stage many times.

It took me 3 attempts to get to the spiral staircase 😂 thanks to Nardo and Tata, I finally made it. I love that most large buildings on Van Dyke are linked to our deep automotive history. Awesome video!

I worked there in 1968 when it was built. I'm 88 now and my memories have pretty much faded. I remember the day Martin Luther was killed and I was on the switch board taking calls from parents asking if we were open or burnt down. No I said I wouldn't be answering the phone if we had burnt down but we were closed for the day.

I have 2 more big video projects with him in em to edit. Wish I would’ve gone out with him more. Our schedules didn’t align often…but it always seemed like, we’ll get the chance later. The solar eclipse was the last time I saw him. I cherish every adventure we had!
