Part of my job is moving granite countertops. When I help take one off the floor and onto a cart I use a bent over row movement, so it's a very useful movement for me.

I really appreciate being able to go back to previous lessons to gain further insight. I tweaked my back doing this one last night and after watching this lesson, I'm pretty sure it was because i didn't have the opposing Lat engaged properly.

My version, I alternate hands...when I pull up with my right hand, on the way down I let the KB barely touch the floor (or not) then swing over to my left. I definitely feel my abs and lats working. And here I thought I invented the kettlebell row :)

Great content again. Am currently running my own version of your basic four-day kettlebell Tetris of training but would happily sign up for a program if you were selling. How would you add in the "pretty" exercises to the basic four-day, and do you recommend any prehab for rest days in that program? Cheers, Marc

So Mark, I kind of bought a 56kg kettlebell. Naturally, it is very heavy (certainly not an impulse buy at all....). Great for bent over rows and deadlifts though. I don't plan on trying to swing it....at all. BUT what are your thoughts on one arm kettlebell deadlifts with it? Would that not engage sufficient cross body stabilisation? Or too dangerous? I can deadlift it two handed pretty easily.

Mark, are planning on selling a kettlebell/ club program or are your existing videos the program? Also, do you still have the live calls?

Do you think you could do a video on strengthening the lower back? I watched your "What Causes Lower Back Pain & How to Fix It" video, but one showing specific exercises on strengthening the lower back would be so appreciated. Love your videos.

A good tip for lats activation is to "pull" with the ring finger. Dont know how it happens, but it happens.

Love all your videos, thank you. What would recommend for an out of shape overweight, 82 year old man. Judo background but haven't been on the mat in years. Weak legs. Have most needed equipment. Thank you SIR for any recommendations and for your incredible teaching skills.

@Mark Wildman Brilliant content, as usual! Mark, you have made hundreds of such awesome simple, to-the-point & effective tutorials, however, might I make a suggestion as an end user of these great videos? I think you should also have a/divide your playlist with whatever exercises (and I'm talking especially about kettlebells) you think would be good for the absolute beginners (the basics/fundamentals); the intermediates & the advanced people. It will help people (esp. a rank beginner like myself) to choose, and learn first the fundamental movement patterns, and do them acc. to their level of competence, and also thus not attempt the more complex/advanced ones before they're actually ready for that (& potentially hurt themselves in the process). Also, with the basic/fundamentals in hand, they can then 'design' their own programme (based on your helpful tips & cues & programming videos - another playlist suggestion!), and then actually do them...and later 'progress' to higher stages/levels... Hope you'll take my suggestions in the spirit they're intended and not as a criticism -- I do love your channel! Cheers & stay safe! P.S.: I also think it would help beginners/novices if you would give suggestions for which KBs you prefer/like/endorse (brand, weblinks etc) as many people may not even have an idea which KBs to get & how/from where (I certainly don't)...and maybe go a bit into types of KBs (cast iron, steel, non-metal; handle types etc) & their pros & cons. Y'see, esp. for beginners who are thinking of investing into these new (& often 'strange'/'novel') equipment, this would be really helpful & useful knowledge before they spend their money on stuff which they regret buying later on & cannot return or use...I know for sure I'd rather spend a bit more on quality product once than spend a lesser amount each time I experiment with bad/sub-par equipment, thus actually blowing much more money in the process... Anyway, thanks for all the GREAT and free content! Keep rocking!!

What you talking about mate this exercise you fully stretch your arms till you protract your shoulder then yiu pull back and up leading with elbow and lat snd not over extending the pull like you do. Even bodybuilders do full range on the eccentric 🙄
