Omg!!! THANK YOU soon much for this review. My husband wants a new coffee maker to do lattes, cappuccinos, etc. I'm not a coffee drinker,so I was like, what the.... So after watching this, I'm leaning on the batista or smart k-cafe. Life saver. I'm looking forward to gear coffee.

Do you have to connect the KCafe Smart to the wifi and download the app before you can use it; or can you just unbox, pop a pod in, and run it? ☕

If I ever have to replace my K Supreme Plus, it is a toss up between the K Supreme Plus Smart and the Keurig K Cafe Smart. I suppose it would come down to which I could find a better deal on. I am looking forward to getting some kcups when you have them out. Can't wait to try your coffee!

great question. on the keurigs that control the temp and strength, I think it does. this is on the more expensive Keurigs, but on the k slim I don't think so.

The 1st one worked for about a month then made alot of noise, wouldn't depense the water just spurted and spudered so I decided to unplug it, opened the pod and a lot of stem rolled out. Let it cool off and tried again but then no lights would come on so it wouldn't work. The 2nd one wouldn't work right out of the box...no lights nothing, just supposed to plug in and go, there's no on/off buttons.

Update: the third unit they sent finally works correctly and has for several weeks...fingers crossed for the continued success
