Infinite warfare is mediocre at best. Strictly from campaign. Not the worst thank to setting and Ethan. But it still cod game with all the usual tropes, over the top bad guys, lack luster enemy fraction, mc characters are always good guys doing, disagreement slove in a cutsence. Near death experience, trap in walking cutsence. The whole war situation easily resloved. And the hacking robot is op.

0:35 nah Kev, everyone agrees IW campaign was fantastic What made IW bad was the shitload of microtransactions, both in multiplayer and zombies You had skins-changing-stats, some completely positive, even for scorestreaks YES, THERE WERE SCORESTREAK VARIANTS and still you had dlc weapons (even them with variants of course), and the same cod problems: gadgets and classes too powerful, many small maps , weapons that tromp ,etc.... so yeah, IW had a fantastic idea and campaign, and i still play it with bots, but they designed the multiplayer with a hand on their dicks and the other on their pockets If the people saying "tHIs IS a HiDDeN GEm BRooooH" touched the multiplayer/zombies i can promise you, their opinion would not be so positive

It's essentially a Black Ops 2 sequel, but in the 90's part of the story alone. (BO2 has "past missions" in the late 80's and "future missions" in the mid 2020's.) Cold War, as far as I'm aware, is a prequel to elaborate on the story leaning into the original two Black Ops games.
