Lol. Before Brain Stew, they tried to give Billie his Eb guitar for the song. He went with the other one in standard tuning (as you can tell because he uses that guitar during minority, which is in standard tuning) and it threw off Mike and Jason. They had their Eb instruments and in the first part of Brain stew before the band comes in, Mike had his Eb bass and realized Billie was in standard and switched it. Nice.

I don't know guys... I don't know if in this show they were tired or something but... I feel that the signs of being a little older are taking the way of the band. I hear that Billie Joe can still sing, but it seems that he can't sing and play at the same time. Sometimes he doesn't sing or play neither... In Basket Case he didn't play the final Chorus at all. Forgetting lyrics for a song is normal, I don't mind at all. Trè fucked up his solo, and usually he doesn't miss solos. But I'm huge fan of the band, I like EVERYTHING that Green Day publish for the rest of my life, so don't judge me

I think not playing at the same time is a deliberate choice, what he plays when singing at the same time is not at all hard for him. As for the performance, it was not their best but his voice is amazing. I love it much better than like 10 or 15 years ago. Also, like for anyone, and like for them at any period, it depends on the day. I was at the Seville show on the 2nd November and he sang perfectly, not off at all. Father of all was incredibly good. I guess for songs like that that challenge him vocally, there will be better and a bit less better performances but overall, with time it gets better and there will be other amazing performances of it. My favorite singing of him remains the rev rad period but it was probably also the rev rad songs they played at that period that were so good. For instance when Billie sings Rev Rad here it sounds so well. I do wish they had enough energy to play long shows, 2h30, like Rev Rad. Then up to them to see. The Longshot shows were shorter, but the energy Billie had was amazing, really. Then I guess that at some periods he has to slow down just a bit.

So a 3-piece band has 6 musicians on stage. I always find it strange when bands pose as a band with a certain amount of official band members but have various uncredited members who play every show, but never get seen at interviews or photo shoots. Why not make them official members?

Besides Jason White which has been the 4th member for the live shows since the Nimrod Era and official member since 2012, there is only Jason Freese on the keyboard and Jeff Matika on the 3rd guitar and backup vocals (now replaced by Kevin Preston after being kicked out). I think, the main reason is, that since they're not involved in the creative process when writing the music. So, what is there to talk about in interviews? They are there to play and they get payed to do so.
