I saw an interview with Gene Hackman and he mentioned that he wasn't good at comedy but that dance scene in No Way Out was pretty good comedy.

He is a throwback to Gary Cooper, Jimmy Stewart or Burt Lancaster. So ironic and appropriate that he starred opposite Burt in Field of Dreams! Check out No Way Out. Just a tight, well made thriller that really launched his career.

Truth . I’ve been seeing celebrities say for a couple of years that they’re aren’t any movies stars left . I’ve thought about it a few times and I couldn’t decide if I agreed or no longer care . But with you commenting this, I would absolutely agree that he’s still a movie star .

First thing I saw Kevin in, was an extra in Night Shift. The scene where Bill is hosting the Frat party in the morgue. His character is directly behind Keaton when he’s balancing a shot glass on his forehead

I remember when Geraldo Rivera was a big interview get for the Stern show. If you had told me back in '93 that he'd have Kevin Costner, or Madonna or Bill Murray or Neil Young sitting there happily with him for an hour, I'd have said No way. But Robin needs to be there always. Don't know why she's not.

I'd love a wild Fear and Loathing meets Se7en style adaptation of Max Payne with Costner as older Max solving a case in Mexico while flashing back to his investigative days. Make a legit great mystery but tell it non linearly and psychedelic as heck. A very different but perfect Costner role IMO
