As if these dudes in this era actually plays D. MJ wasn't ahead of his time. He's better than all the player who play today. Dudes wasn't just letting MJ score. They couldn't stop him. Luka is slow and unathletic. And none of the players can stop him. But they could stop MJ? No!

MJ wasn’t ahead of his time..he’s still ahead of time. Nobody jumps like MJ. He’s the only player in history that could leap off one or two coming out of full stride and reach max vertical

MJ also had one of the biggest hands in NBA history. Strength/athleticism giant hands Basketball IQ and his fire to win……Todays NBA wouldn’t stand a chance

Mike was basicly a cheat-code, because he had no weakness. You're right, he was way ahead of his time. He not cooked the Knicks every time, one time he needed 7 games. That's not cookin' someone. People tried to double him early, the result was, he passing and you gettin' the 3 from Hodges, BJ or Paxon. Pick your poison. It wasn't just Mike, the team was well build around him.

Jordan was just different. I started watching the NBA because of Magic and Bird, then watched MJ dismantle the league, onto Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, DWade, Lebron, KD, and everyone in between. I've never seen anyone who had the insane combination of attributes he had: not just off-the-charts athleticism (though he clearly was a freak of nature--48" vert, 4.3 40, ridiculous body control, amazing anticipation and adjustment, ginormous hands, always on balance, the hang time, etc.); not just a crazy work ethic to always improve (came into the league with plenty questioning his size, defense, overall shooting--transformed himself into Defensive Player of the Year, bulked up, worked tirelessly on his shooting from every midrange shot on the court until he could find his spot anywhere); not just will to win (one of the most clutch performers of all time--shot 50% during 99% of the game, and when it was on the line with all the pressure and everyone knowing he would have the ball. . . shot 50% on all those buzzers beaters--the definition of clutch); not just his durability (he played all 82 games in most of his seasons with the Bulls); and not all the accolades and records. It was the sum total. No one was the complete basketball player he was on both ends of the court, every minute of every game. He was maniacal, an assassin, and the ultimate winner in college, Olympics, and the NBA. This mixtape, while awesome, only scratches the surface. He did something mind-blowing practically every night he stepped on the court, and that's not hyperbole. This isn't a mixtape--it's a small sample snapshot of what he was like on the regular, game in and game out. I agree the league has tremendous athletes, but never been anyone like him, and I seriously doubt we'll see anyone like him again.

Imo, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time! He is a living legend! There's a reason people still buy, or seek, Air Jordan shoes.

Best part about Jordan was that in addition to all these dunks and crazy atheltic layups, he was probably the best mid range scorer ever.

You cannot trap Michael Jordan because he does not allow himself to get chat trapped he's always moving he his fundamentals he's probably the most fundamentally sound basketball player that ever played the game he never allows himself to get trapped he always leaves himself and out

Great reaction man! These highlights were basically the same feeling you got every single time he played. Mike made the Bulls games must-see-TV. Even non-basketball fans watched the NBA because of him so they wouldn't miss out. You just knew that every time he played, you would see something otherworldly.

The combination of cat like quickness, jumping ability, and the mastery of basketball fundamentals is some of the reasons why Jordan is the G.O.A.T.

You have to remember today the defense is easier to break down. Multiple defenders in most of his highlights

He wouldn’t have to adapt much to today honestly. He’s slicing through so many defenders in times where defenses were allowed to have three in the key and be far more aggressive. In todays spread out and watered down league, he’d average around 20 free through a game and good luck keeping him out of the paint.

Jordan actually had 4.3 speed he was really fast .. actually ran a 4.39 forty
