The fact that Durant is one of the few NBA to successfully come back from a Achilles injury should be an inspiration to many future players dealing with the same injury. The Achilles injury has plagued and ended many NBA careers.

KD is technically in year 16 but this will be his 15th season playing. Hopefully KD can have one of those seasons for the ages to solidify his legacy in the minds of all doubters. MVP, scoring title, Title and FMVP will put him in the top 10. I would put him at 8 at that point.

KD is the one who popularized it for these kids growing up watching him and took what Dirk did to a new level. Yes Dirk has played an influential role in history but when it comes to who influenced this new generation specifically, KD is that guy.
