Then is on another team with 2 other top 10 players and great supporting cast. Always takes the Easy way out, unless he carries a team like lebron can he can’t be mentioned with him. @@YoungBlood507 I personally don’t think you can compare LeBrons legacy to KD’s as well…like the 2007 & 2018 Finals run where he carried teams that weren’t supposed to make it are prime examples of why Bron is better imo. But in KD’s defense he’s living in the league that LeBron created where you have three all-stars (maybe even superstars) on one team to win…that’s just the reality of the NBA nowadays. It’s been that way for almost a decade outside of the 2011 Mavs, 2019 Raptors, & 2020 Lakers. If LeBron doesn’t set that precedent of joining other stars in free agency to make powerhouse teams maybe KD doesn’t play on the teams he’s played with up to this point in his career (excluding OKC because they drafted him) so even though I like a more balanced competitive league like how it was this year (2021) even though it was due to a lot of injury I can’t fault KD for adapting to what the league has formed into.

NBA players are treated with 100% when it comes with health. Everyone knows that Kevin Durant was too injured to play. Kevin Durant knew he was too injured to play, the doctors most likely told him that. Winning the championship in 2017 and 2018 partly made up for the leaving OKC for the team that beat them. Now take us too 2019, Kevin Durant knows he isn’t healthy enough to play, but he does it anyways. He knows that most players don’t come back to even 80% of what they used to be when they rip there Achilles. He knows that he would miss an entire season. He knows that he would be in a boot/cast for 6 months. He proved that he has the heart for any team. He proved himself and made up for the bad decision to sign with the team that beat you in 7 in the Conference Finals. 4 years ago we were saying “weakest move made by a superstar to sign with the team that beat him”. But now we can say “one of the biggest heart filled moves made by an NBA player”. He knew the risk, But he still got out there, played 13 minutes and scored 11 points. Ripped his Achilles, and was out for an entire year. He knew the risk, he knew he would leave the team after that year, so he was going out to get that three peat for his legacy, and most of all his brothers. I think the focus of the 2019 finals shouldn’t be the win by Toronto, the focus should be the heart of Kevin Durant.
