Kyrie quit on KD just like he did against Lebron when Cleveland played GSW with KD his first year there. Kyrie the type to talk shhhtttt get you into a fight then bounce and leave you to fight a fight his mouth caused.

I'm glad Brou talked about the 90's defense, people swear these athletes today would destroy 90's defense, but they can't handle any sort of grit or physical play. Look at KD, Ja, and Harden these playoffs.

It's OVER for the Nets, even with Simmons return next season, they'll never get by the Bucks or the Celtics, all the other teams are young and getting better and better. KD will have to hang his hat on those two hollow chips with the Golden State Cheerleaders! 🤨

If KD never left Golden State, all the rings he would've won, people will dismiss it. They'll say he's a bus rider. How he's a cupcake for jumping onto a bandwagon. How it's still Steph's team. He had to leave but chose the wrong partner.
@aatiti20112 жыл бұрын
The pb with KD is he let the media narrative go to his head. When ppl were telling him his two rings didn't mean squat, he believed it. Dude , you played in these finals and contributed. Basketball is a team effort. Your other superstar teammates made room for you. What was the pb? Why allow other ppl to have so much power on you, to the point to influence your career choices? He got in his own way. He is still a great player though. Hope he bounced back from this.
@mistermann32252 жыл бұрын
@@aatiti2011 It's wast just the media. Draymond told him to his face they didn't need him. KD probably felt like he had to leave after that.

KD has always excelled when he has teammates who not only move the ball but also set hard screens, players who sacrifice their bodies so he can get his. But when your guys best buddy isn't willing to get a stupid shot so he misses games all season zero sacrifice. No wonder KD is getting doubled and tripled without help. But that was his choice to stick with his friend.

Nets are in their prime, no one in Boston are better than Kyrie or KD. They have the "best player in the world", swept the first round as Vegas heavy favorite. 2018 Lebron went godmode on KD + 73 win warriors, lost because of his scrub team and JR not being able to tell time. They may have both had the title "current best player in the world" at one point, but they are not the same.

I agree with Chris.... individually KD had a great game, but the fact that Brooklyn still end up getting swept makes his stats from last night meaningless. Had the Nets forced a game 5 and won the series in 7 , we'd be having a completely different conversation 🤷🏽. But again, all credit goes to Boston, they got what they wanted on offense, played hard and made things difficult for Kev, Kyrie and the other guys on defense all series long 🤷🏽

“Jordan faced that x 10 in the playoffs in the 90s”. Early 80s baby and MJ was a hero of mine especially 87-93 when he was God tier but for the love of God stop it Chris! I’ve been going to 40-50+ NBA games center court row 10 games (pacers season tickets since Reggie Miller’s rookie year) every year since 1987 and no one in the history of the game played even close to 10x better defense then the great defense Boston has played since Jan1 nevermind in that series! 80s was def tougher then the 90s bc more great teams and it was def more physical but my Pacers & Knicks of the 90s or SuperSonics, Jazz, Trailblazers, Cavs, Magic, Rockets, Suns, Heat etc in the 90s were not even close to 2x better defenses nevermind 10x. It’s stuff like that type of Stannery comments (on both sides of argument when clowns say it was plumbers in 60s-90s) where objectivity is out the door and instead it’s mythology! PS Illegal Defense made it illegal to zone and triple team someone essentially. Also while the game was more physical, 1-10 (or 15) on each team there was far less overall skill (shooting, dribbling, passing from bigs especially and very few PGs scored as much either with a few exceptions). I loved 80s and 90s basketball fan as Pacers diehard and have seen MJ play 40+ times, but acting like he was going against a bunch of Bill Russell’s, Pippen’s, Kawhi’s, Draymond’s, & Hakeem every night is laughable!

Redemption for? Lebrkn can’t even make the playoffs with multiple hofs. Never has done anything with super teams. But kd should have to redeem himself? Cavs. Lebron froze vs the spurs. Magic. He froze game seven. Celtics. Epic meltdown. Mavs. Nothing needs to be said. Played way worse than kd. With multiple hofs again. Grade everyone fairly. One guy gets excuses the other get graded accordingly. Not fair at all.
